  1. The footage of Jack pushing Maynard after the incident sums up Maynard. Not until Hoskin-Elliott gets involved does Maynard push back. Then when Jack isn't looking, Maynard grabs Viney by the neck... Maynard is a coward and a thug.
  2. We aren't asking Brodie to be Tom Hawkins. We want him to play ruck/forward. The media can't seem to get that. They think we want him to play forward for 100% game time. As for Buckley, he hates us, (the feeling is mutual) last week he said we can't win it because we can't score. We have scored 69 points less than the pies this year. He is clueless. He was a great player, but a failed coach.
  3. Take no notice of them is my advice. I think the quality of the AFL media has never been worse. It's full of gossip mongering, click bait headlines ect. We are not a media darling . The tv coverage of the sport is diabolical. No tactical analysis or position changes ever get mentioned. All you ever hear in our games is, "don't kick the ball long down the line against Melbourne" That's as deep as it gets. There is a severe lack of decent callers on tv and radio. Tune them out. The game is more enjoyable that way. Or go to the game if you can. It would be great if we could press a button on the remote and mute the callers, but keep the crowd noise.
  4. Richmond changed their assistants for the 2017 season. 3 flags followed.
  5. I think Goody needs to change some of his assistants next year. Go and get Don Pyke, he knows how to setup a forward line, our current coaches have had years to sort out our forward woes and haven't, so I can't see them fixing it this year. The players try so hard, but the coaches only have 2 of the 3 phases of Aussie rules figured out. Also, Chocos kicking school needs to be sacked.
  6. We have had forward line and entry issues going back to 2019. It clicked late 2021, but that's it. How can professional afl coaches not be able to fix a problem in 101ish games of football?
  7. Are they? I stand corrected.
  8. The big 4 clubs will never play down there. There would be riots if they were told they can only have 500 tickets for the whole club. I get the feeling the mfc want Anzac eve and kb, so they don't complain. Maybe, after a premiership, it's time to complain.
  9. We are 43/16/1 since the start of 2021, with a premiership to show for it. I'm very proud of my club. Everyone, outside of some of our own supporters respect us. Right now is the best time to be a demon. I hope some on here don't miss what is currently happening.
  10. I think it's the area of the ground we can fix straight away. It's our biggest strength atm, granted, but we were afl#1 for points against in the last 2 years, playing with 3 talls. We are currently #6. It's only a few goals a game worse, but when you lose games by 11, 4 and 7 points, it matters. In the entire 2022 season we conceded 70+ points 12 times. This year we have conceded 70+ points 7 times in 11 rounds. I get we are scoring more, but the balance is off against the better teams. We need full team defence to improve these numbers but, May being the back stop, Lever intercepting, another tall doing his job makes us better. Why Goodwin would tinker with a back 6 that has soul destroyed teams in the last few years is beyond me. It's cost us games imo. Put players in their best positions. I'll hold faith we can get it right.
  11. At least we changed our kick in strategy today..... that's something. The really poor form of our tall forward's this year is one of the main reasons we are struggling. We were forced to move petty forward. Then he gets injured playing forward. That move has made our defence look flimsy. Lever can't intercept because he has to take a man. May is trying hard but he needs help. We need a key back to come in and help them. Tommo or Turner. Clearance work needs to be more than boot it forward and hope for the best. We seem a very unhappy team atm. Lots of guys yelling at each other. The team have looked flat and heavy legged in the last 2 games.
  12. Melbourne FC scheduled to play Geelong FC At G.M.H.B.A stadium. Geelong only allocating 500 tickets for dees fans.
  13. Norm Smith passed away on July 29th, 57 years ago. Since July 29th this year, we are undefeated. (our last defeat was July 24th) The Norm Smith statue outside the MCG has Norm pointing 2 fingers/thumb on his right hand and 1 finger pointing on his left hand...21. The last 3 numbers of the Bulldogs score from the grand final is 666.
