How do you fluke a premiership? 25 games played. We won 20.5 games. Minor premiers. We won 3 finals by a combined 190 points. QF by 33. PF by 83. GF by 74. We did it away from home. It's one of the best premierships ever won.

This is worse that 186. We have stars on every line. Premiership players galore. It's a diabolical performance. Geelong were the best team in the comp in 2011., and we were garbage. Freo are bottom half of the 8 at best. I'm a positive footy fan, but this is a disgrace.

Jvr and Lever out and that's it. This is almost our best side. It's a death rattle performance.

This is a coaching problem imo. New game style doesn't suit our team. It's too easy to play against. How can professional coaches not see this? 3 goals in a half, in perfect conditions. 16 scoring shots to 6!! It's not working!!!!

35 inside 50s for a game. Against last year's Spooner's. That is a player and coaching fail. I personally hate our new game plan. We don't have the kicking skills, and we are so slow to move the ball from the back half , it allows teams to flood back. The eagle forwards were in our forward 50 way to often today. I don't mind our coach trying new things, but this style has changed us for the worst. Id rather 60 inside 50s and hope we kick accurately.

What a pompous jerk!

It was an out of character performance. I'm sure we will bounce back. I don't know why we had no energy, but I do note that the lions, pies blues, suns and swans all looked flat the game before their byes. Coincidence? Mental? Who knows.

Awesome win. I'm really happy for Jack. Also, great seeing Jay Viney sitting next to Todd in the crowd.

In 2023 we averaged 44k for home games, and we're only behind the big 4 in total attendance with 907k. That number doesn't include the 189k in our 2 finals. Sam McClure only has to Google these 2023 numbers. But he won't.

Our media department all have ticktok brains. 1 minute videos with pegs, coins, forks, candles and Taylor Swift lyrics. Made for 8 year Olds. It's an insult too our intelligence.

Incoming rant .. Our media department has been treating the supporters with contempt for many years. They are hands down the worst and most lazy in the AFL. We get some happy snaps and 1 minute videos with terrible music. It's insulting imo. We have 74k followers on Twitter and 152k followers on Instagram, yet the club does nothing to leverage that support. It's maddening too me. Show us what is happening during preseason, take us inside, tell us positional changes, who is training well, the injury list, interview some players....we have 45 of them. Do what all other AFL clubs comms are doing. Goody said on SEN that they are going to open the doors so we can show our "culture". So far that has proven to be a lie. Rant over. Embarrassing performance. 4 scoring shots in a final. Why was the game not played at Casey? Every other team that hosted a final played at home. Why are we different? Casey is a huge advantage to us.

May said, ( not exactly) F...It hurts losing to Collingwood, we should of smoked them in the QF. We are a much better team than them. Sitting on my couch watching them win the gf was hard. We should of been winning it, not those [censored].

I'm disappointed that the experiment was given 12ish games to work. Has to be the biggest trade bust of all time. Maybe our list management team will think twice, the next time goody has another bright idea.

Heimlich maneuver needed for this group of players. Mind boggling coaching and selections. Shoutout to Steven May for an awesome game.

The footage of Jack pushing Maynard after the incident sums up Maynard. Not until Hoskin-Elliott gets involved does Maynard push back. Then when Jack isn't looking, Maynard grabs Viney by the neck... Maynard is a coward and a thug.

We aren't asking Brodie to be Tom Hawkins. We want him to play ruck/forward. The media can't seem to get that. They think we want him to play forward for 100% game time. As for Buckley, he hates us, (the feeling is mutual) last week he said we can't win it because we can't score. We have scored 69 points less than the pies this year. He is clueless. He was a great player, but a failed coach.

Take no notice of them is my advice. I think the quality of the AFL media has never been worse. It's full of gossip mongering, click bait headlines ect. We are not a media darling . The tv coverage of the sport is diabolical. No tactical analysis or position changes ever get mentioned. All you ever hear in our games is, "don't kick the ball long down the line against Melbourne" That's as deep as it gets. There is a severe lack of decent callers on tv and radio. Tune them out. The game is more enjoyable that way. Or go to the game if you can. It would be great if we could press a button on the remote and mute the callers, but keep the crowd noise.
