Food for thought, all this discussion re: Injuries, if Richmond had a similar stretch of run with injuries to us would the be in the 4 let alone the 8?? Had the lost key personal for reasonable stretches of the season would they be where they are????.... I tend to think not. If They Lost Cotchin, Martin, Rance, Nankervis, say Houli would they be exploited???........I Tend to think so.

Really itching/would love to have another crack at Richmond this year. It's probs because my misses follows them and like many of them they fancy themselves this year, Dusty and Brownlow talk too. I reckon we can give them a good run for the money again.

Just feel like a rant, but I'm really over the Cats just in general. Give them credit with their drought breaking flag in 2007 and follow up flags in 2009 and 2011, but now just over that club. The arrogance of Danger, Selwood and Hawkins drives me nuts plus a whinger of a coach. I know it's early we should be just focusing on wins, but some on here are hoping we look at Sam Reid as another tall forward. How about Jack Gunston his form this year has been that crash hot but he is another creative forward who looks more dangerous than Reid does. When he is on he can regularly kick a few kicked 5 on the weekend?

Given his suspension wasn't smart for the side, his experience and leadership when games are in the balance and there to be won is huge. He was one of the guys that stood up for us in Rnd 2 when Carlton were pressing.

The Importance of this guy is huge in our side with out a doubt. After last night and both the Freo and Geelong games it is clear that his calmness and leadership when the opposition comes hard is bigger than we think. Not insinuating that no Lewis no Melbourne or Lewis the messiah, but his leadership under pressure and when other teams press hard is going to be vital for The Hunts, Olivers and Petraccas and their careers. The best part is Lewis doesn't need 30 possessions a week just his expertise and footy professionalism at the contest is super for our club. Can't wait for his return. On a side note Michael Hibberd was a sight for sore eyes last night brilliance kicking out of defence was mouth watering.

Howe apart from his brilliant marking disposal and decision making I will never miss, what gets me is the praising from the commentators?? No good if you are just going to turn it over?

Surely the Hibberd deal now can be done considering Jordan Lewis isn't leaving Hawks, I guessing the Lewis stuff caught us by surprise now can focus on Hibberd Trade
