  1. No unforced changes, the team selections aren't the problem in my opinion, it's the team psychology. we seem to lack the ruthless, killer instinct against the lower sides, and we need to work out why that is, we've been lucky to win games without playing our best but to get the most out of this list, we need to really make sure we win games like that. Viney and Neal Bullen need to work on their ground ball coz they're playing as if it's a bar of soap. our defensive side was non existent, and it's been a while since we've been outworked that badly. and the umpiring was a joke.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 3
  3. Hawks have gone pretty tall, so i guess they're going to try making our big backs accountable, problem is it's 3 lesser known players who may not have the quality to prevent May, Lever and Petty from outmarking them

Geez the Cats are annoying to watch, always playing for free's, crying at umpires

Can't see it happening at all, but want Freo to win.

The Dogs collapsing in a heap would be good as well
  7. Right now i reckon i've seen enough to suggest Harry has gone past Tommlinson as a player. and another few rounds, final campaign, flag, Norm Smith and then a full pre season, i think he'll be pretty settled in the team.
  8. Offt that brings back memories. i've got a feeling it'll be a tight game for at least 3 quarters.
  9. I definitely see Hunt as a half back, but i think he also as we saw last year, can offer us a different look up forward in short bursts. i think it could be a weapon come finals time
  10. Jake Lever is an absolute gun in this space, having him consistently on the field, along with Steven May has made a huge difference in more than just the amazing roles they're playing.

Offt mate, i usually agree with you on most things, but pre-draft and early career i thought Trengove was an absolute gun, honestly i think the MFC ruined him, his injuries were imo a result of mismanagement, and his confidence and development were shot by MFC decisions to rush him into the captaincy and poor coaching appointments. I firmly believe if we didn't sack Dean Bailey Jack Trengove would likely be seen in a very different light today

I agree, but i think there are certain qualities you can see in a young player that you know will translate at AFL level, like Vision, evasiveness, attack on the ball, leadership. this kids got it all. he's definitely not a Toumpas or Aish

And i think he's going to be a great get for them at pick 3. he seems to have a lot of attributes for the modern game in that he's tough as they come and a contested beast, but has the ability to be damaging on the outside as well. I definitely see a potential brownlow medalist in Horne. which really says something about how good the other two must be.

No i hadn't but totally get it, if you watch him play his evasiveness and sidestep are elite, reminds me a lot of Petracca. Daicos and Darcy must be super human if they're considered better than this kid.
  15. No change. a positional change i'd consder however is giving Jayden Hunt some stints forward at times,

West Coast are in a world of hurt, but i wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks start tanking now! they're really keen on young Horne

The way they're playing at the moment they're no guarantee to beat North, or anyone else for that matter. even if they did sneak into the 8 the team that plays them should feel like it's Christmas
  18. There is something to be said for being ahead of the curve in terms of what the umpires are really focusing on, and being able to disguise things so you don't get caught as often. Not sure how they get away with the throws though, the Umpires definitely know they do it. they just seem to get a free pass.

Mate, you'd have to do some serious digging to find the last intelligent thing he said, i'm pretty convinced he's a troll, because i don't think anyone could get it so wrong, so consistently by accident.

It does seem there are a few teams from 6-12 that are hitting decent form, could be a few upsets in the run home. I expect the ladder to finish 1.Melbourne 2. Geelong 3. Western Bulldogs 4. Brisbane 5. Port Adelaide 6. Sydney 7. West Coast 8. Richmond/Essendon/St Kilda
  21. It does feel like now Weids leaving would be a win-win for us, though i'd suspect we won't get anything like the value in a trade for him that we might like Got to back Ben Brown in now though, he hasn't played a huge amount of footy in the last 2 years really, a good run at it and i reckon he'll be back to his best by our rd 19 game against the Suns.
  22. Tipping he will be very handy for us in some big finals this year, he's a smart guy, and he makes T'mac 500% better
  23. I actually really enjoy the commentary of Leppa, i hope he's someone we'd be considering as a potential assistant coach, he really seems to understand the game well, and can explain it in a way that would make sense to people even as simple as Port Adelaide supporters.
  24. I thought his other goal on half time was a bit of a christmas present as well Dazzle. May tackles him, he drops the ball and then May gets pinged for holding the man.
  25. I'd go with. Lever, Oliver, Petracca, Gawn May would be stiff to miss but there are some really good full backs this year
