I am really interested to see what position Rivers is playing in 3 years time, will he still be at Half back, or transition into being a winger

2021 Off season targets
Would be nice to raid a few of the power clubs who've spent years raiding the MFC, anyone at the Pies or Hawks sick of losing?

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
It's no surprise our backline has been strong with two of our very best leaders down there in May and Lever, one who has captained a club in his own right, and the other who's going to be right up there for being our next captain. It's hard to blame people for not trusting the MFC. until we're lifting the cup, it's possible people won't fully jump on the wagon. though if we account for the Lions in similar fashion to the Dogs our credentials will be undeniable.

Adam Cerra
Just the rumour that's doing the rounds mate.

Adam Cerra
In my opinion it's speculation based on the theory we'd have another bad year this year and have to pay overs to keep Petracca, Oliver, Salem, Lever, and Gawn who we needed to re-sign and while it's difficult to know without actually seeing the books, it does appear all of those listed above have taken comfortably less money than they might have gotten on the open market

10-goal wins
I think the scoring is something that will improve in time as well, we've clearly made defending a priority as it should be but this is 3-6 months into learning a fairly new system, i am very confident by seasons end we will be a much better side than we are now. i've never felt so confident this team can win the premiership. we want for nothing, talent and buy in all over the field and selection headaches all over the place.

May’s Kick-in From Behind
I think it was Leigh Matthews who said "if you've got a good game plan that works, you can tell the opposition what you're going to do, and if you execute it well enoguh, they won't be able to stop you"

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
I think McLuggage could well be in Harmes Crosshairs this week, and if so he may end up spending a fair bit of time on the wing I reckon it's gotta be Tom Sparrow who comes in though
-
Adam Cerra
Unfortunately i think Adam Cerra is going to end up at Essendon next year, they're exciting, looking like a finals contender, and have the money/trade assets to get it done

Where will we play the Lions?
Strange times, honestly, i think it would be best for everyone given it's round 11. to move the Bye forward and push the other rounds back, buy some time to assess the situation and figure out how to move forward we know how quickly things can change with covid, and lockdowns and so on. potentially things may look a lot better in 10 days time.

Good win?
the move to tag Libba was incredibly bold and shows a blueprint for other teams on how to beat the Dogs, awesome stuff

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
I've been on record saying Ben Brown shouldn't have been dropped but Weid is so close, sure he only kicked 2 goals but he got both hands to the ball a bunch of times. won't be long and they'll stick for him and he'll kick a big bag. we've gotta back him in because the signs are very good. unless Ben or Mitch Brown goes absolutely nuts in the 2's i reckon Weid gets the next 3 games at least

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
It all seemed to come together last night, i felt like we were quite good out of the middle, which we haven't been this year. and some really good deep clearances i was really impressed with Trent Rivers, he looks an absolute ripper. he may end up being the best of the big three we drafted that year, i'd put some consideration into him moving to the Wing with Langdon out as he's got the pace and skills to be that attacking winger the coaching was brilliant. Goody and co absolutely out coached the dogs, tagging libba was a masterstroke, pressure on the ball carrier killed the handball game (high handball game styles don't stand up against sustained pressure teams) and Jordan i felt kept Bont under control for large patches The Dogs have a lot of talent, but they have some glaring weaknesses. the fact our three marking forwards all kicked multiple goals and got a paddock to work in shows they're a bit like us in 2018. look amazing offensively but the best teams will make them look really easy to score against. I said this during the week and got some unhappy responses but the dogs flat track bully status is confirmed to me. good teams will follow this blueprint and they need to do some work

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
Arguably the most complete performance from the MFC in the last 15 years, i can't imagine there being any unforced changed Weid was okay, he got his hands to it alot, as he builds in confidence those will stick and he'll kick a bag. he's staying involved in the game a lot more than he has in previous years. with Langdon a confirmed out, it's a matter of who they think is best suited to fill that role.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
For all those questioning Brayshaws place in the side, tonight was a great example of how wrong they were. one of the more selfess team games you're likely to see
-
CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
HUGE loss. Alex Neal Bullen has the running power to play the role, and Tom Sparrow could come in and play as a pressure half forward
-
Langdon Concussion
Super important player. guessing Baker comes in. big shoes to fill
-
VOTES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
6. James Harmes 5. Clayton Oliver 4. Angus Brayshaw 3. Trent Rivers 2. Tom McDonald 1. Max Gawn
-
Darcy Parish
5 minutes with Chris Scott and Joel Selwood and he'll be well and truely indoctrinated
-
Darcy Parish
Parish is a jet, if i was in charge of North Melbourne i'd be putting a big contract infront of him with Guaranteed midfield time. i think Geelong may be very keen to get him down there as a replacement for Selwood

The 2021 Forwardline: What's our best mix?
In terms of our best on paper forward line, not taking into account the rest of the ground i'd say Petracca McDonald Neal-Bullen Fritsch B.Brown Pickett with Spargo rotating through. obviously Jackson for example offers a lot to the team, but purely as a forward i wouldn't have him in the mix and i still rate Brown a touch higher than Weid, that may change by the end of the year. and Petracca is a very handy forward option, but obviously vital in the middle these days

My Round 11 Preview and Prediction
Got a feeling the boys have been really setting themselves for this game, regardless of results i reckon it's going to be a cracker of a game

Slow off the Mark; Our First Quarters
Opposition fatigue plays to our strengths in regards to less precision on kicks, more long hack kicks. so we get better as the game goes on, and our improved fitness really highlights this. it's why we've been very good at grinding out games
