  1. we look a lot better when we move the ball quickly we should be able to run them off their legs
  2. Dawes and frawley have been horrible, need to hold marks ffs
  3. Gws have already sent their best mid forward and their best back forward, we'd get investigated if we did that
  4. BOG to Nathan Jones and another 3 brownlow votes in the bank I reckon he is going to finish higher than people might think, won't win, but I reckon top 10
  5. Corey Ellis Rjay? I watched him a few weeks ago and thought he could play the role, what do you reckon?
  6. Ted Lasso

    WTF?

Pj should make a phone call to that hero and scare some sense into him
  7. I strongly believe if pick 1 isn't traded the Saints will find it difficult to pass up McCartin, so for mine, Petracca is pick 2 If we lose today i'd be very surpised if we don't draft him, if not I think picks 3 and 4 will be on the trade table
  8. He's a good chance to be All Australian, and exactly the type of player we need, not only is he a linebreaking highly skilled half back, he's a genuine leader, two time premiership player, coming from the swans culture who has played under Roos, he'd move into the role seamlessly it's an absolute no brainer from my point of view
  9. Tom Mitchell is one I really hope we chase hard, he's a great young player and already has a solid relationship with Roos and Stone
  10. I agree WYL, if there is enough evidence to issue Show cause notices to 34 players, in my opinion there is enough doubt over the matter to make it unfair on the other teams, imagine the team who finishes 9th finding out in two months time 34 players have received infraction notices and shouldn't have been playing in the first place?
  11. Big win today would be great, this is an oppoutinity to show some of the young GWS blokes we are on the right track so they can request trades to mfc
  12. I rate him on par with Jack viney, would love him at mfc
  13. Miles is the one from GWS we should have picked up last year, would have been a delisted free agent or Rookie pick, he has an amazing work ethic and is showing how good he is going to be now
  14. I think Fitzy might hold some value to another side that is lacking in key forward targets and he wouldn't cost a fortune to attract, perhaps a team like Freo or the Bulldogs would consider Fitz if he was on the table
  15. Probably a second rounder, wouldn't get near our high picks unless we got another top 10 pick back and even then I would be very hesitant but I do rate him as a player, just need to see a bit more before he is worth a big investment
  16. I am tipping a win by the Dees, because I believe on the G we will be tough for them to beat, having said that I don't think they will be so concerned about Petracca that they would sacrifice momentum, and the 5 wins that would be their best ever season, I think the Giants will come hard
  17. I agree, I think Hogan is the best of them, because I think Hogan is the only one besides Cameron that could settle into CHB if we needed and become a quality defender, he has the speed and so on to play multiple roles where as Patton, Boyd and McCartin imo are more stay at home forwards
  18. Just watching the interview with jonothan patton after reports the bulldogs are going to offer him a 5.5 million dollar 5 year deal, he looked as gone as gone can be to me, hopefully the Giants are worried about hanging onto him and turn their attention away from Cameron just in time for us to swoop in they have all these players who look like potential superstars and I reckon they know some are going to leave.
  19. I reckon this is a good point, they reckon players reach their peak between 26 and 28, how many players on our list are in that bracket? Garland, Dunn, Jones, Dawes?
  20. I am not disputing the players right to not self incriminate, rather the manner in which Essendon are planning to use that to stop ASADA re-gathering evidence. I am of the opinion Essendon have left the integrity of the game in tatters and are trying to get away on a technicality rather than own up to their own mistakes
  21. I can't fathom how little could suggest it should be swept under the rug, surely if Middleton saw that it could change his decision if he was going to rule in favour of essendon He said during the trial, " I couldn't make any ruling in your favour without certainty the same information could be reaquired legally, as a matter of public interest this needs to be resolved fairly." Little has since said he wants it swept under the rug and young said the players wouldn't answer questions in further interviews that might self incriminate Disgusting EFC
  22. Basically, because they are such high picks they should be capable of significant improvement, that doesn't always mean they are, this theoretical. There value would be based on what they could be in theory not what they are, or have shown
  23. The other thing I find interesting is the doomsday vibe they seem to be thrusting on us, I think its been a Much improved year with good indications after another change over and pre season we will be in a good position
