I can't see the Saints or Giants bidding on Billy with Second rounders in case a player like Hugh Goddard slipped that far down and they missed out, I think there are some good players that will be around that area in the draft but if push comes to shove I think we will use our second rounder on Billy

we will get band 1 compensation from Chip almost regardless of the deal, his age, standing within the team, our position on the ladder and so on all come into account, if the standard system doesn't achieve a result they deem fair, a different outcome can be recommended the AFL will look after us with this i'd say, it's a good way to give us an extra top 5 pick without having the uproar of giving us a PP perhaps a PP at the end of the first round might be a chance but I have my doubts

I think what Selwood does goes beyond honestly trying to win the ball, as great a player as he is, the fact he does that on such a regular basis to earn soft free kicks hurts the level of respect I can have for him as a player. I don't see the difference between ducking your head to get free kicks and taking a dive to get one, it's staging, an un needed action that is only done to try and induce a free kick. it's already taken far too long for the umpires to stop it, would be a disgrace if a team lost a legitimate close final because Mr Selwood decided to duck his head and get a free that shouldn't be there.

I can't help but feel disappointed by Dawes, I see him working his ass off with constant leads and runs to effect pressure and stuff, but a bloke of his age, getting paid good money, I really wish he would impact the score far more than he does.
