  1. Will be very interesting to see what position JKH plays over his career, a player with class and smarts like that could play in just about any position.
  2. What's more amazing is his knockers, I doubt many people feel we lost out on that trade with Tyson probably up there with mumford and polec as the recruit of the year and having a genuine impact and salem showing some very good glimpses he is only going to get better too, 6-8 years off his prime... how scary is that?
  3. That goal he kicked at the end of the game to me was a sign that this kid will be more than a really good player there was Scott pendelbury written all over it After 20 games he is playing like a 100 gamer
  4. Mrs sassy is abit of a fan of Dom
  5. I reckon watts is a half forward flanker he is a good enough forward his opponent has to respect him and his kicking into the 5o is an asset.
  6. Peter Wright, McCartin and Durdin will be the top 3 i reckon
  7. the thing for me that's different about him is with Boyd and Hogan they threw kids around like rag dolls with their massive frames, this kid has another dimension to his game, he is quick on a lead, a good set shot he doesn't rely on his contested marking, reminds me alot of Nick Rewoldt in that way, and he is also a very capable young ruckman
  8. If Eddie Betts gets paid 600k to move, Dale Thomas gets 700 k to move Chip frawley could get 800k
  9. Hawthorn, Fremantle, Adelaide, Gold Coast, GWS and Carlton will all offer the 800k for Frawley if push comes to shove because Key backs of that quality don't grow on trees
  10. He's a fantastic shut down defender, never seen anyone have the wood over blokes like Jack Rewloldt so consistantly, His skills leave alot to be desired, his decision making and leadership are lacking but i think the club contributes to that as much as anything. he'd be a loss, but to me it seems he has made his decision already, i just can't see how we are going to retain him on current form.
  11. Haha wish upon a star i suppose Rjay, i really think we need to try and get our hands on someone with superstar potential, and the only way that happens for us is paying overs or waiting and developing Tyson, Salem, Viney, Hogan, Toumpas and hoping one lives up to their hype
  12. It depends, Dangerfield is almost 2 years from being out of contract and already put talks on hold, if by the end of this year the crows feel he may leave as a free agent they might see an opportunity to get a really high draft pick as better than the risk of no compo at all the next year if he leaves. Wines is a victorian boy, best mates with Jack, strong ties to the viney family, a big pay rise and the opportunity to come home would get his attention i think, it doesn't hurt to make the phone call, we need these sorts of players to improve
  13. I'd offer pick 3 for Wines, give him a pay rise, if they feel he is going to walk at the end of his contract, a young SA defender ranked so highly might just get their attention pick 2 for Dangerfield, if we offer overs and the crows feel he is going to walk anyway then they might see pick 2 as better than the compo if any next year pick 1,19 and Jeremy Howe for Trelor and Patton? long shot but couldn't hurt to ask, they get a key forward, a versatile forward target who is great for marketing which they need and a good pick, they will then have Cameron, Wright and Boyd as well as Howe and pick 19
  14. It's a discussion forum, if a team hasn't won a game in 8 years hardly then of course you are going to discuss the worst possible outcomes at times, i don't see who we are going to be able to beat based on our current form.
  15. why head in the clouds, if we don't win a game, which is a real possibility based on how we are playing PJ and PR will certainly apply for a Priority pick, we will already have pick 1 which would become two and the compo from frawley would be independent because we lost a player to get it picks 1, 2 and 3
  16. I reckon our top 3 picks should be key position player, i like Angus Brayshaw but i'd be looking at Wright and Brayshaw picks 1 and 2 and McCartin left as fantastic trade bait for a Bulldogs or Saints looking for a key forward or Wright, Durdin and McCartin to sort out our key stocks long term, two key forwards, a key back and Hogan to float between
  17. I'm betting we have picks 1,2 and 3 1 as a pp 2 as our normal pick and 3 as compo for chip i reckon we need to ask the club if it's possible to delist 20 players this year, 10 players next and get draft concessions because this list will not take us anywhere besides 7-10 decent players that we have
  18. Toumpas was hardly a laughable pick, he was clearly the more highly rated of all the players available, looking back Wines may have been a better selection based on what we need but Toumpas was rated much higher than Wines pre draft so i am certain we didn't surprise anyone with what we did there, Cook, Gysberts and Strauss are a totally different story, it's failures there that have cost us dearly, those blokes should all be in our top 10 players now
  19. That's fair, and i agree, but we don't know if Wright will go pick 1 either so i suppose for me, Wright would be my draft target with whatever pick we do have
  20. for me the comparison is Kurt Tippett, he's a monster, 202 cm and over 100kg already, takes a good pack mark, his kicking at goal is pretty good, leads hard He's another Boyd, Hogan, Patton type player, probably doesn't have the tank of Hogan but Hogan at CHF and Wright at FF sounds great to me,
  21. I agree, Peter Wright is the hand down pick 1 for me at this point, every bit as exciting as Boyd last year.
  22. PP pick 1: Peter Wright pick 2 ( chip compo) : Angus Brayshaw Pick 3 : Sam Durdin Pick 19: BIlly Stretch
  23. Interesting, I don't know nearly enough about this bloke apparenty, any highlights on youtube or anything?
  24. Kid has some serious speed
