Jack Trengove re-injures his navicular (2014) - trade deal off
What replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
yeah i just looked at it properly Its just the author telling us Adelaide have pick 10 and could trump Richmond if they wanted. Well no [censored], any club with a higher pick could trump them No quote from Adelaide themselves, just an authors fairytale -

makes sense if we will then trade pick 3 and 12 for a superstar But assuming its not Dangerfield (even though it could be), who will it be? -

why would we throw in pick 23? If they want him then its pick 12 for Trenners Simple -

WTF There must be a player we REALLY want and need pick 12 to make the trade happen? Otherwise makes no sense -
Brendan McCartney no longer coach of the Doggies
What replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
do we have any assistant coach spots left? id take McCartney for sure, ; their kids came on fast and strong, look at Bontempelli, Stringer, McRae -
pick 17 is fair value for him Which is exactly what the Dons are rejecting cos they are moron drug cheats
-
good Will gladly trade pick 2 for Dalhaus and 6, as long as the Dogs promise to take McCartin so we swoop on Brayshaw at 3

Jason Akermanis was 100% right about the Bulldogs And i always suspected their 'leaders' were selfish and cared only for their individual stats, mainly Brad Johnson and Luke Darcy but Brad Johnson was the worst. he was their captain and nothing but a goal hungry squib The 'leadership' culture of those players has been passed down to guys like Griffen, Cooney and co. -
I would love to go in to the draft with picks 2 and 3 Always prefer to develop our own Robbie Flower, Jim Stynes, Garry Lyon, Greg Healy, Todd Viney, David Neitz, David Schwarz, Nathan Jones, Brett Lovett,... All started as Demons, all developed their craft at the MFC, all one club players Would take that any day over trading away picks 2 or 3 for a bloke thats spent years at another club We now have Paul Roos, George Stone, Simon Goodwin... surely these guys will back themselves in to nail high end draft picks and turn them into stars

What replied to Demon3's topic in Melbourne Demons
How does the addition of Garlett mean we wont develop Kent and JKH? and by the way, Kent and JKH are midfielders, Garlett is a small forward -
that goal was ridiculous Glad we are holding on to pick 23, hopefully Nakia is still on the board

yes lets be underwhelmed at a 25 year old thats kicked 190 goals in 110 games thats 80 more goals than anyone at the MFC has kicked and hes only half way though his career Some posters here make me laugh -
a few more posts to go til the magical 100 page mark and Danger is guaranteed to be a Demon
