And a wicket at the Oval Butler out

Some seriously empty stands. Perhaps the AFL need to look at last minute discounts etc

Willie Rioli Suspended for 2 years
From that article: "The A-sample didnât return any evidence of a banned substance in Rioliâs system, but the finding was that there was evidence of urine substitution, which is known as a âprohibited methodâ If it wasn't a complete substitution this makes it even stranger.

If Adelaide sacked Pyke and made a long-term offer to lure Goodwin
Here's a well written article in today's Guardian on Chris Scott. It contains the following paragraph which is apposite to our coach. "The language emanating from football clubs these days is softer, almost mystical. The days of the autocratic, raving lunatic driving a team towards a premiership are thankfully long past. Youâd lose your young players if you carried on like that now. Youâd probably have the police at your door. These days, many of the senior coaches speak like yoga instructors. Along with their players, theyâve embraced mindfulness and meditation. The key words at football clubs are âconnectionâ and âvulnerabilityâ. Itâs the antitheses of how the previous generations of Australian men were raised, taught and coached. Itâs refreshing, and it clearly works. Demons Re-Sign Corey Wagner?
Wagner did enough this year to justify a further contract. Well done. He isn't the problem.

Willie Rioli Suspended for 2 years
The AFL hate the WADA regime. They would much prefer to be like the major codes in USA and enforce their own policy. First offence for PED in the NFL is a four match suspension.

The Ashes - 2019
They lost 5 for 50 from when Root went out but the current pair have put on 45runs for the ninth wicket. Overall a decent performance by Australia with many English players getting good starts. Australia will need to wrap up this partnership before it does damage. I still don't think it was a smart move putting them in.

The Ashes - 2019
two quick wickets after tea. Game on All out for around 250 would justify sending them in

The Ashes - 2019
There's not much doubt that Langer runs this team. If they had taken the Root chances it may have been different but 300 plus is looking inevitable

Why pick Siddle and Marsh and send a team in England heading for a big score

A simple stat that so many don't get. This club is seriously underperforming the mean.

The Ashes - 2019
Would like to see a win this Test. Warner to score along with another batsman so Smith can enjoy himself. The inclusion of Marsh is underwhelming and I just don't buy the resting of the bowlers excuse given the rotation policy. An England win would be slightly deflating. Looking like five days of relative sunshine around 22 degrees max. And why do the English like dressing up in silly clothes?

Good point Dr G I would prefer to see an interview of Goodwin by a well prepared journalist addressing the key issues. This could end up as amateur hour. A supporters forum would be much better if it looked at the various value propositions for different classes of supporters.

Jamie Elliott
Would want the opinion of the Richmond doctor before signing him and four years at $600k is a BIG risk. Garlett would have been on around $400k (guess) so it's a big step up.

Willie Rioli Suspended for 2 years
AFL are ruing the day that they were forced to sign up to WADA. In the NFL the suspension for a first time abuser of a performance enhancing drug is four games !!

Willie Rioli Suspended for 2 years
wonder if his mum had a hammer handy? https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/politics/article/3023316/chinese-missiles-likely-cripple-asia-based-us-forces-event Among the astonishing points of the FINA doping panelâs report seen by The Sunday Telegraph were witness claims that âSunâs mother asked a guard to bring a hammer into the doping control roomâ.

With the nature of the charge it is hard to imagine that it was an unintended or unknown ingesting of the substance. Time will tell. Shades of a well known Chinese swimmer

perhaps straight swap for Weideman ... where do we sign?

Farewell Sam Frost
That's the problem. We'll get offered their second round at best which will be pick 30 or an NQR player. I think this is about money and opportunity for Frost.

Rawlings: No Runners Cost Dees
good point but a thinking coaching team would have designated one player from each group.. back, mids, forward etc to be responsible for on field enforcement of the gameplan. Doesn't need to be the captains but more the players who have some tactical sense. You also have to remember that with four players on the bench rotating constantly that messages aren't too hard to get out. Smacks of yet another lame excuse to me.
