Small thing... like many have had lots of flights cancelled on me recently and have been offered refunds etc but I had an internal flight cancelled in Greece. Because it was a budget booking I can only get a credit voucher to use on another flight. No refund option like all the other airlines. Strange... I thought the EU had all these wonderful consumer protection laws.

Fibre is the way for domestic use for the next few years at least. 5G has a role but it will be in the internet of things and is really only for densely populated cities at least in the short term. The NBN has been a complete stuff up for so many reasons.

I find it a welcome distraction from the constant doom and gloom now being pumped out 24 hours a day. If anything it reminds me that it is merely a game to be enjoyed. Sure it probably will only last a few more rounds but lets savour it while we can.

The opening round is an anomaly in that it is played over four days but given that we are starved for sport I see no reason why we shouldn't play the crowd free games over say five nights each week. Yes I know there will be a few short turn arounds but it will benefit the lesser clubs such as ours with increased exposure. Other than the Perth crowd very few will be watching us on a Sunday afternoon this week.

wonder if they played those incredibly loud half time ads as well. There was one shot of an ad on the scoreboard that I noticed in the Ch 7 coverage but I was not sure if it was live or CGI. Found the Virgin airlines ad they were running when goals were kicked rather ironic not to mention the NAB ad for all those successful businesses.

Might be a bit too much for mass LED screens but you could project the various cheer squads assuming you could get over all the image and privacy issues. Perhaps just fill the stands with imaginary animals. It definitely needs something.

CGI coverage of the stands has been a possibility for years. They did it at a rugby union game years ago. It's the MCC who is against it.... they own the ground advertising rights. They had apoplexy at the time

why the usual half time break? Thought they all wanted to shorten it and it was only kept so the fans could get to the toilet etc....No fans ...so

you can get a gig speed for another ten dollars a month but none of my computers etc are powerful enough to take advantage of the speed even if I could find something that needed it. Just went down to the pool and the local authorities have ordered all pools closed plus our gymn.....grrrrrrrr life in Paradise may not be so perfect after all.

Think the Gold Coast my friend. Definitely not the Solomons A big condo right on the beachfront with a full size pool. Life's not tough here I can assure you. Did I mention the 500Mb speed fibre internet for A$40 a month (kayo via the VPN) and of course there's always the bum gun in every toilet if you run out of toilet paper. Take care.
