  1. Great result Only saw the last 15 minutes but young K White could have a future Connection wise I'd give the team 6.5/10 for what I saw. AFL wise .... not much but it's not all bad by any means
  2. Was thinking that might be a nice outing for a Burra Burger and some dim sims but then saw the time. As a daytime venue Port is very pleasant with a big grassed verge behind the main road goal. (Warning if you go to a Port game their supporters are lovely but they love their team) Windy Hill is also an interesting ground to attend. More of an open park these days with a couple of the 60's style grandstands. Had to ask where the scoreboard was. Turned out to be on a far fence at ground level. Very upmarket surroundings at Windy Hill these days. The other strange thing is that because much of the ground is unfenced it was free entry
  3. If only Jeffo could ruck Even the Weid could ruck
  4. We simply have to persevere with JVR for the next 3-4 weeks. If it doesn't work we can give Jefferson a game but then we need to also play a second ruck/forward such as AJ
  5. Australia for the cricket win and Piastri for the win in the Montreal GP.
  6. Interesting that the offer has leaked. It was probably intentional in that it was designed to blow the competition out of the game. Hope we wrap it up quickly
  7. Thought you had it wrong... but you're right Way too long Practically if he wants to go to WA only the Eagles could come close to matching this deal and giving us the necessary trade capital.
  8. I was about to post well done by Howes and then the bad penny dropped
  9. The upside is we won the last quarter and our goal to behind ratio was much improved. After last week's debacle it was a decent comeback against the in form ladder leader
  10. Perhaps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. It's a better ratio than usual... which is not saying much
  12. Oh well It would have happened in the last quarter but it's the third
  13. This is just bad coaching. Zero tactical nouse
  14. Right on schedule
  15. Business not quite as usual but we're on track for our usual goal to behind ratio of 1:2. We'll get nowhere until that ratio becomes 2:1
  16. Pies happy to play the game around our forward 40 and then rebound. I would have hoped for some nuance from our coaching staff after last week's debacle
  17. Can we blow the siren now please
  18. A bit of a joke... Freo not willing to pay the dollars or give up the player. Now the media can move onto Harley R PS: I'd almost be happy if LJ moved to Geelong.
  19. I'm ok with $1.2 for five years. (This seems to be the "new million") A little wary for obvious reasons about contract lengths beyond 5 years
  20. My guess he's the sub in case of injury to Lever or more likely if they take off a forward and move Turner forward. But really I have no idea
  21. For all the help that has been given to North and the Suns a competitive Eagles is far more essential to the competition. How they have got themselves into such a mess is amazing even if I knew how they did it
  22. The interesting thing about North's trip to the West is that they play their second sold home game next week in Perth. Obviously they did a deal with the AFL fixture
  23. We're growing the pie We're bringing our wonderful game to new markets The mantra continues Would love to read the inside story of how much the China experiment cost. I'll bet we're very jealous of the NRL's play in Vegas
