  1. Played their GF's before today against us and colliwobbles
  2. Having followed Garden City back in the sixties I don't wish any ill will to come to any Papley but I can understand the sentiment. That said he might end up knocking himself out. I still think we need to use many more players revolving through the team, we set the 42 to do that, didn't we? Why didn't it happen?
  3. This is all provided Grundy doesn't want to go to West Coast.
  4. Give or take a demon hating maggot or two Oops I promised myself .....I'll try again...
  5. As above, who would have access to the AFL's statistics about player and team injuries/ illnesses individually and as a team, unless you had someone on the inside letting you know how torrid and heavy player/team loads were going to be? Presumably the statistics would be available to all Clubs for analysis?
  6. That said, i think their, Geelong's, management process this year, their group being older, was as good as the best.
  7. In my OP I think that we should have given our key players more time to recover like Oliver Petracca and Gawn for starters. We have players like Weideman and other on ballers who would have jumped at the chance to take one of those three key players positions. That's why they play so play them. This is not hard to figure out and the benefits could have meant that the injured could have returned in far better shape. We are a team of 42 and we should have been enacted like it.
  8. Yanks are cutting off the head, and we are cutting off the tail.
  9. You reckon maybe the word to the AFL will go out.Tighten up the ship or we'll lighten up the book. And so it should, the bugler chooffes off overseas and gets the call back, oh bother..
  10. Might as well bring up whoever is in charge of the tribunal and Brownlow as well.Have a really good clearance..
  11. It's historical because they, the AFL, were so bloody slow getting on top of it.
  12. I reckon there was a few sick blokes looking around each other trying to find out who was supposed to pick up Premiership Captain and all round player extraodinaire Max in the Forward line at the bell.
  13. Liked all of what you said just a little worried about delivery through and around the middle by hand and foot.
  14. The time of the season for this bloke to be dumb enough to get himself reported in an open/shut case was unbelievable. It would have cost Carlton as much to get him off as it would have for them to miss out on finals. Would be very interesting to see the all betting sheets from the baggers, laid on him winning.
  15. And Scotty boys will have failed again if he loses Saturday
  16. In conjunction with that Brownie, and i agree, we could find that should he be tossed into all preseason games next year in that role we might just have what we want. He is going to build up a little more, more ks in the legs, more peripheral awareness. The big fella from SP was stuffed. Weideman was still going. Best performance of the year in my book in a position that were we to lose in, with his opponent able to palm, we would have lost that game.
  17. That he won it is surprising enough, that some people knew about it is in a realm all by itself.
  18. There must be a few blokes there on a pittance. Would they know though. Perhaps it's the coach of no sitty downies..
  19. Thrower, pusher and stager...
  20. So they fiddled with the votes, and fiddled with the winner to make it look closer.
  21. Voss the ultimate team player had a very interesting look on his face.
  22. Has he mentioned his team mates...oh sorry it's the Cripps night. There were other players involved from his team, weren't there???
  23. Doesn't matter whether you win or lose anymore...just who you play for..
  24. Flew home especially, who paid for that.
  25. Pretty good speech, and well appreciated.
