  1. Hawthorn have an Elephant outside the room at the moment. Media too s$#t scared to mention his name at the moment, as am i, JK......
  2. Queens Birthday Game May v Mihocek, play him from behind, whatever, punch, don't bother mark. He just bleeds to the umpire, every game, every chance. The classic winger.... MacDonald v Maynard, he can only swing one way, and needs to be played Ess close after every contest, will be tiring but it might work.
  3. Looking at that game only, it seemed to me that we were made to hold the mark longer, otherwise the signal was not in control, play on. The same went for opposition holding ball decisions not paid, and pushing in back, which in my opinion is going to get someone killed very soon. ALL DISCRETIONARY.
  4. Luke had his mum with him.....
  5. Inappropriate causations have been occurring for years. Did Mathews receive a fine and a bill for wrecking a point post? Did Jones get fined for damaging a goal post? Did players get fined for misbehaving in the race or the dug outs? Resting case.....
  6. Ok , so no more tackling against Brisbane. Three reasons. They wack their hands on the ground to exaggerate the tackle. They throw the ball away in full view of everyone except umpires. And two little squirts put their elbows up to break the tacklers jaw....
  7. The interesting part about how well we are going is when will the shuffling of which matches to win and which to lose by Collingwood and Geelong, so as they don't meet before the GF (big proviso). I will be watching with unabated interest.
  8. Watched Razor's performance again yesterday, and he is the best going around
  9. So the AFL rooster, head maggot gets one back.
  10. Several South Aussies in our Team will be the difference...
  11. Wonder how Dunny used to get on with Bernie Vince on that stupid show??
  12. Regarding the Gold Coast incident. One of the most experienced Premiership players on that ground saw fit to jog away from view because he saw nothing in that incident to remonstrate about..........Ellis
  13. Same with out of bounds
  14. Jones to do this game commentary. Matter of urgency
  15. Loges....why do crucial decisions get made at crucial places and crucial times, as if not random and penalty plus, and try to spare the hyperbole and heat of the moment stuff. Its as if its meant to have real impact to the flow.
  16. There was a fair amount of enlightenment if you had have persisted.
  17. Spot on these comments, and i noticed and heard as well. It is a pity that this interruption was milked for all it was worth. Will he play next week , i would be thinking yes...
  18. Two things we are waiting for JVR to get big enough to do what Brownie used to do at centre bounces. The second is that our players are the most interfered players of all Clubs except one at Pies... Pendlebury
  19. Jvr lifted his arm to avoid the most of the contact
  20. I thought by the way Ben was shaking hands with the MFC players after the game...
  21. Brings me to your point, Sparrow kicked another 50 mtr beauty yesterday. That said, umpires wait for Viney to go i inch off line to call play on, and why the kicking for goal at and around the fifty seems to be open to umpire's discretion, depending on, i have no idea what??
  22. The commentators know that they are scum, they know what they are doing, and i think it's tied to a couple of issues. They know that MFC Football Club want a Home Premiership. What that means come the end of September, they will all have to come and bow down to the MFC. I don't want to put the spotlight on anyone, but i think we have playing, some individuals that are not " in their mould type" sport people. I guess you can figure out who i am talking about, and their show did the trick.
  23. Not completely correct. It was what is wrong at Melb, how bad we are, and bruise free, and no one will go there, etc etc, ad nauseum.
  24. Did you see the backless waitresses for Charlie 3?
  25. Well, where do i start and end. This game was spoiled by the very inconsistent efforts by what the industry calls umpires. In this game they weren't umpires. They very rarely paid marks. They very rarely paid interference to marks. We were not beaten by a good Team. We were nearly beaten by an extremely fortunate team and some, as usual bewildering decisions. The difference between last week and this week was rank. To an observer you can tell when the smaller players aren't going to be protected. Their(umpires) fine art now is to penalize but make it so its not that obvious and by three qtr time they had nearly run out of tricks. The one i did notice though was how the protected one behind the person on the mark definitely only applies to us. Just so sick of such poor performances, both on and off in the media. They don't even bother hiding it anymore. Sad when there is plenty of younger blokes with footy commentating nous, they still manage to regurgitate old hacks, who should be doing Bingo calling.
