  1. Loved that report, and a question re JVR. Is he holding back on actually hitting the packs too hard, so as to practise the entries into when there is the inevitable spills and ground work?
  2. He is getting ready for a Left foot dribble in a GF
  3. There is not a player in any AFL Team that has the peripheral vision and consequent evasive qualities of this player playing today. To me that puts him in the irreplaceable category in that , and several other positions on the ground. We have TWO of everyone else, nearly..... There is only one of him, when he is on song, playing well, my OP is our whole structure revolves around him, but shushhhh. This is a secret. Required player, absolutely necessary, and we would be a laughing stock if we lost him unnecessarily.
  4. I reckon i look like Joe the most, only from the shoes up though.
  5. Brush up his left a tad
  6. Week to week Team Changes all season. Not just injured players.
  7. What other players/ Clubs have got stung for that amount of money for that offence anywhere?
  8. I want as many players as possible to revolve through that side, with two simple provisions. We are winning. We are covering like for like, with minimum injuries and the right folk, notwithstanding everyone getting a shot, at the end of year on the park. Big ask, I know..
  9. A happy TEAM playing for each other and the rest will take care of itself.
  10. By Gees, they were the years, and I don't remember the best parts.
  11. Port have muscled up their on ball contingent this year and Cozzie probably doesn't want to go back to takeup Grays sole crumbing place possibly and limited on ball.I think we have a good chance to have him here for at least two years after 2023.
  12. Thanks PF good stuff
  13. How about " Crack'n Jackson"
  14. Any rule changes about how umpires could be under increased scrutiny in view of last year's revelations??
  15. The door is always open , that's what I always say. Sure that Mr Grundy wouldn't mind finishing his last two years with Jackson getting back to the big smoke for the last three years of his contract.
  16. I had a pimple once and it took years to heal..
  17. Kevin, love the expression Pettys mongrel. I must admit he reminds me of an English Flight Commander during WW2
  18. I thought everyone went back to their school and did burnouts. License or no license and with a couple of sheilas too
  19. Geelong and Collingwood love taking the legs out from underneath their opponents which explains their rugby type lower torso tactics. The policy is not going for the ball but the player, and slow them down or injure, maim etc..
  20. I'm not so sure Gawn is going to be in the middle less. Why change a Ruckman who wins a flag from the middle? And who knows all participants. Brodie becomes a big problem forward while Max becomes one in the backline.
  21. Minimum 20 mtr passes by foot essential, or the code will pay.
  22. Yep, two good strong hard disciplined fit first Rucks back in demand like the old days. Does anyone remember if Teasdale played with Nolan or Roberts with someone at Richmond?
  23. Firstly it will take Jackson some time to be an effective participant wherever he goes and i'm taking into consideration his shin injury. Secondly he will need to realize his protection around the ground strategy. Third, the first part of the season will have him identified as a prime target of nullification and Max aint there...
  24. Our games in black and white...1964
