ok, so on the surface it seems that Clarke did the dog act, took us for a ride, grabbed the money and ran, then left us in the dirt. i think its worth considering that maybe all the talk of "doing whatever we can for Mitch, helping him heal wherever he ends up" was just a cover for us finding a way to ease him out of the club at minimum cost. The guy did have a contract that we could have enforced. You are right, it is a business for those getting paid, but for us supporters, it is more about emotion than business. Why else would you follow a team that has lived at in the cellar for so long ???
