I am a combination of nerves and excitement. I’m going to the footy with my Magpie husband and 14 other corporates who are also Pies supporters. I cannot wait for game time. I’m pacing around watching the clock and trying to do some paperwork to pass the time. I have been told that our big ruckman is very nervous about this game and doesn’t usually suffer from nerves. Hopefully he will move on, enjoy the occasion and slaughter Grundy and Cox in the ruck. Dees by 28 points ❤️?

I cannot watch Neile Daniher these days without tearing up. One of the most motivational men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. 'You give up, you give in or you give it all you got'. I hope all of our boys took that in and do Neale proud on Monday.

I will be in a corporate box on Monday and just found out I will be the only Demon supporter again. I was with the same group last year and took a great deal of pleasure with the end result. I hope its the same case on Monday.?

God I hate Etihad but very happy to have been at the game. Thank God we don’t have to play there again this season. Just spoke to someone in our ruckmans inner sanctum. Max did not pull up too well after Wednesday’s training. Bad headache, bit of photophobia ( probably courtesy of that hit to the head in the second quarter) but appears to have slept it all off and now feels a million dollars. He is convinced they will win well today. Losing has not crossed his mind.

Finally caught up with my source this morning who told me that Gaff definately wants to be a Demon next year. I pressed for a bit more but that’s all he would give me.

For what it is worth, I have just been talking to one of our favourite players long term partner who told me that Tommy’s injury is not too bad. He just pulled up slightly sore.
