Maybe send it to Robinson who sometimes seems to struggle remembering what happened yesterday let alone 2009.

The whole story just doesn't add up. -
A real risk at that kind of money...just a risk I think.

Might want to add Jude Bolton to the fight for pole.

Thanks 'Ben', well picked up. Got a good laugh, I just hope I'm still laughing in the next few days and it's all gone away.

We do but this is no longer an AFL investigation. -

Bomber will go, Hird, Evans and Robson should. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. -
I'm not for throwing him to anyone or anything, just surmising what may happen. I don't think he will be shown the door but may serve some time in the sin bin. Why would he be meeting with the AFL? who really knows, it's a possibility.

No matter what comes of this, whether it is found they have taken illegal substances or not the club must be held responsible for putting them in this position.Their managers and their union have at best been incompetent, i think probably worse than that and the AFL have been to busy tilting at windmills. Their fate could well be in the hands of WADA and with the Armstrong fiasco they may well be screwed through little fault of their own, surely someone asked the question. -

'Macca', I'm finding it hard to believe that the players association and player managers let alone the club didn't know what was going on. 40 plus players on the list and no-one said anything, no one mentioned to their manager that they were asked to sign some document, maybe talked to their association...no-one. I mean we know that Reimers said he talked to players at other clubs, they said nothing. There's a lot of people protecting their backsides here and I'm not buying any of it. The sports science guys are the evil faceless men, that's too easy to sell, most of us would love to see the Thursday night sausage sizzle and Sunday morning barrel back in footy, these guys are no fun. They have a fair bit to answer for but.... The EFC, player managers and the players union fiddled while Rome burned and the AFL sat on their hands. I'm not buying what they're selling. -
You know I was just thinking of posting the same thing. If CC was at the AFL yesterday then adding 1+1 and getting 3, something is up. Maybe the charge will not be something as dramatic as bringing the game into disrepute but they will make something up (bad comedic timing when in charge of a seriously poor football club) and if Trigg got 6 months CC may get 3 with a suspended sentence or just a ss and told that the AFL is no laughing business. Who knows???

..and that's the key point, we can't afford to be found guilty in any way shape or form.
-
Watts forward?
-
guilty = end of club the AFL can't afford to loose 2 or maybe more clubs in a week, now that would be more than careless.
-
Having met them both I'll take Wayne.

It's not good for anyone.

Sent him a text but of course they didn't read it out. You wouldn't have to be too smart to work out that Don is following the legal party line that unless you can prove the players were told not to play their best then there is nothing to prove. I think she is taking a punt here, if she gets it right she looks good and in the know if not she can pass it off as the AFL not wanting to fight wars on too many fronts.

Please bring Grant Thomas back or someone who is prepared to say what needs to be said even if it isn't right. It's all vanilla, AD doesn't lie, please give me a break.... What a choice; Lyon, Wilson, Hutchy and Lloyd or Sheahan , Healy and Roos. Think I will stick with Finey or is that "Viney". -

His first mistake was not going with his lie, "I'm not coaching the Essendon FC". -

Unfortunately the footy will now start with a big cloud hanging over it. I was really looking forward to the first game now I'm a bit up in the air about the whole thing. I would like to see the tanking thing over with, what a dog's breakfast the AFL have made of that and would like to know that we are not involved in current investigations on a federal or state level. This is going to engulf the whole competition and instead of reading some great football pieces the season is now set up for Wilson and co...even Buddy's contract is going to be relegated from the front and back page.
