The Sack Ken Hinkley thread is worth a read https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/sack-hinkley-4-show-him-the-door.1272686/

Am I the only one to notice they took ages to play our song after the win and only played it once? Even the DJ is salty that they lost by the look of it
-
Good thing his only had 3 touches. Not even half as many as Ben Brown
-
Lol it’s funny because it’s true, then our small forwards will be praised for laying tackles and “forward pressure” instead of actually kicking goals

On the weekend across a number of matches I watched, I saw players being rude and downright disrespectful towards trainers. One case is hand is when Viney was sore and the trainer came over to assist only for him to push her away. It is a regular occurrence in the game and one I always hate seeing. It’s always a bad look and I have absolutely no idea why players would treat trainers in such a way.

Have loved our luck this season with opposition teams seemingly to always get players up and back from injuries against the dees. Buddy Franklin, Lachie Neal and now Port likely with Butters and Hartlet
-
We are [censored] pathetic.

Where’s all the media articles about all the events hosted interstate that Melbourne were now priming to steal. It was only a few weeks ago other states were trying to nab the GF again and now look where we are.

Harrison Jones goes to show first year players with boy bodies can take a grab. Consistently stuck marks all day. Keen to see what those Weed “his just a boy” apologists have to say now.
-
This is fremantle we are talking about. With there trade history they will be throwing there 22 first rounder back our way with Cerra
-
Would try to angle for an Angus Brayshaw for Cerra trade. Cerra plays the wing better and Jordan/Sparrow clearly ahead of Brayshaw on the inside now.
-
Watching first year player Harrison Jones clunk them today for the Bombers. Marking is a 101 footy skill taught in juniors which Weid just does not seem to have. Kick, Mark and handball. Beggars belief we have AFL players who can’t do the basics.
-
Thinking far ahead here but I can see some Junior Mac (or Lenny Hayes) in James Jordan
-
Maybe we can trade Weeds and Brisbane’s 2nd rounder for a pick in the 20s
-
People will try defend him and blame the midfielders disposal, but let’s be honest, who here would continue to kick to someone who drops the ball 100% of the time. In fact the mids are doing the right thing by not kicking it to him as if they do he will either be out-marked or his opponent will stroll away from him as a rebound with no pressure
-
Absolute joke we are playing ahead of a Coleman medallist.
-
Right now his behind Tmac, B.Brown, Daw and M.Brown. Needs to start from the bottom again unfortunately and work his way back up the pecking order.
-
Put him 1 on 1 against Steven May at training each week and don’t let him back into the team until he can consistently beat May. Right now he just gets towelled up by AFL defenders.
-
Obviously doesn’t like any physicality. Rather run under the ball then take the hit from behind, or takes a first grab and fumbles due to his perceived anticipation of a hit coming.
-
We would have won today if Weiderman was in black n white and Degoey in the red and blue.
-
If Ben Brown doesnt play the rest of the year
olisik replied to picket fence's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ben Brown holds marks and makes the opposition nervous. Weiderman does not. Tmac also plays better with B.Brown then he does Weiderman -
Melksham would have kept Maynard quiet today. In: Melksham, B.Brown, Viney Out: Weiderman, Sparrow, Chandler
