  1. If I was drunk or post - lobotomy then yes, absolutely
  2. I was going to mention him but I'm not across it enough. But I will say that I did feel a level of unease (as much as you can as a regular supporter) at the seeming co- ordinated attack towards a potential candidate a few months back.
  3. For mine, the genesis of this shamozzle stems from the voting arrangements surrounding the outgoing President Mark Logiudice and his Board. Forgive me for not knowing the exact machinations but I do recall that it was almost impossible for them to be challenged by the rank and file. And therein lies the problem. There's a sense of entitlement and almost ownership wherein these so called 'Captains of Industry' become all knowing across areas where they are clearly not. Whilst a different scenario, I reckon you could draw parallels with Jeff Kennett in terms of that desperate need to be seen as the main man. Most at Hawthorn will tell you that he success at Hawthorn was set up prior to Kennett and certainly in spite of him and not because of him. You look at other clubs, Swans spring to mind, where the regular football fan would be hard pressed to name anyone from admin.
  4. Probably the more the merrier. My only rider - If they can't distinguish between a pinot or a merlot, I'd be disinclined to have them on board.
  5. To be fair, we now have a thread on the coin toss. So he can dare to dream.
  6. The offered him the role of team hard man in the 'Mummy' mould but thought this a better fit.
  7. Not petty at all. Not petty enough. They've always seemed a pretty smug outfit to me. And there's no other club that tries to instruct the umpire about free kicks as much as them. Guthrie is a big offender.
  8. On current form, I reckon the Bummers will roll them. I thought Bulldogs were terrible on Friday night and the score flaterred them
  9. It's a bit of a shame. I was becoming quite fond of the third person 'don't ever question Dr D, Dr D will be proven right, nobody has any idea of how smart I, I mean Dr D, really is. You mark Dr D's words. A prophet Dr D is'.
  10. Fremantle are a pretty disappointing club.
  11. I’ve never known a club to get as many injuries game day as Freo. Genuinely, almost ever week they have two injured prior to half time. Today’s an example of that.
  12. Chris Scott is slicker. But I know who comes across as more genuine. For all the criticisms, I suspect Goody's biggest plus is that he backs the players to the hilt. And that can't be underestimated.
  13. Hello my long suffering friend. Can you believe it!!!
  14. Never witnessed so many early morning posts!!!
  15. Just watched the last two minutes again. Why wouldn’t you! The decision to penalise Brayshaw was crazy but just prior to that, Selwood’s kick to the boundary line has far more intent. FWIW Still buzzing
  16. Clayton Oliver is a champion. I need to state the obvious.
  17. I've dreaded games in Geelong for so long. So much misery attached to games there. One of the great wins in the history of our club. Hopefully, defines the season and an era.
  18. I like Beveridge as a coach but he seemed to want to put English where the ball wasn’t
  19. Bulldogs were appalling tonight
  20. Don't want them too but I'm with you. Doggies very lucky to be that margin ahead. And for an important game, it's a yawnfest right now.
  21. Certainly don't want WCE in finals if they're mostly played in Perth. Worst possible outcome other than us ending up playing Port in Adelaide.
  22. Freo choke on
  23. Petty - won't back down
  24. Cheesy, I've watched more than a few bad performances from him where he's displayed zero game awareness. He played well today. I did add that I hope to be proven wrong.
  25. Gold Coast cannot be fairdinkum. Give em some more draft picks. One through to 30.
