  1. That was laughably biased
  2. Hilarious umpiring. This is home town stuff.
  3. Generous
  4. As I said, they're creating new rules.
  5. She did neither.
  6. How does an umpire genuinely call that a free?
  7. I swear they've invented new rules here.
  8. The umpiring in AFLW is making a fair bit of it a hard watch
  9. Yep, he's the one I like Edm. Bottom ager. We're all experts at this stage and as an expert, I like the look of this guy.
  10. The Brad Hill who influences games or the Brad Hill who picks and chooses when he's going to put in?
  11. I like to become an instant expert at this time of year. Doesn't everyone? I like the idea of a Cadman combining with JVR but may be unrealistic. The kid who I think can perform a number of roles and has real upside is Mattaes Phillipou https://www.sen.com.au/news/2022/07/19/the-two-potential-sa-draftees-to-keep-an-eye-on/ He like JVR is a real mover around the forward line. I love Ben Brown but he has as much sideways movement as the 6.20am Frankston to Seaford.
  12. It's not bad, is it BBO. They ask blokes like Yze to follow through a four to five step process to demonstrate their professionalism and dedication to the cause. Meanwhile, they find out it's a done deal.
  13. Yes. 30
  14. How about a tour of the Casey ovals? It's not the Gondolas of Venice but awfully close
  15. Alas no CW. As much as I love my footy, the AFL will now hijack summer sports with absolute dribble.
  16. With due respect Roger, having significant mental health issues in one's family certainly doesn't mean he should have headed up Beyond Blue.
  17. Somewhat laughable that he headed up Beyond Blue BBO. Also (and this may already have been said), how many actual football journalists are there that aren't completely compromised. Russell Jack appears to be the one of the only journalists with the balls to report anything not AFL approved.
  18. Live in the moment. You'll enjoy it more
  19. JVR excites the crap out of me
  20. Great commentary - 'he spears a floater'.
  21. Ahhh, Mitch Robinson. The Stephen Hawking of the AFL
  22. Wakefield, JVR, Bedford, Howell and Bowey will provide plenty of upside next year.
  23. "If you can meet with triumph and disaster And treat those two impostors just the same" Kipling Let me ask you this. Did you enjoy the season? I certainly did. There was the whole gamut of emotions, from elation to disappointment. There wasn't a time when I caught the train home where I didn't think I got my money's worth....win or lose. If you think it's a wasted season, I suggest you remind yourself that it's sport and, ultimately entertainment. Yours in symptomatic of an increasing number of posts that are lacking in humour, self - deprecation and/or brevity. Rather, it feels like it's been written by someone heading to a Trump rally, whipped up into an unnatural frenzy by like-minded knuckle heads. Sure, be disappointed, but get a grip. Go Dees. 2023 here we come.
  24. He's not good enough.
