  1. I might be wrong here, but I believe that the deficit gets taken from the round in which a player gets bid on. I.e. a bid on Andrew in the 3rd round causing a deficit would result in our future 3rd pick being shifted back and wouldn't affect selections in other rounds. Not sure how the rule would apply if we didn't have a future 3rd though.
  2. Good to hear. Also if he wants to bail on us at the end of next year and loves sunny Queensland we can trade him to Gold Coast for their 3 first round picks they own (Coll, PA, their own). They'll need to get rid of them anyway for Zeke Uwland. Said facetiously... sort of.
  3. Something like pick 6 and 23 for 5? Wonder if we'd consider that or just take Jagga ourselves. I'm not wedded to either player so can see the merit if the club can move our pick 79 into the early 20s.
  4. Lol, so much for their "innovative" design

  6. He used to post here @Yze_13. He's a very astute watcher of junior footy.
  7. Pick 1: O'Sullivan (Rich) Pick 2: Draper (Adel) Pick 3: Langford (Carl) Pick 4: Tauru (North) Pick 5: Lalor (Melb) Pick 6: Smith (Rich) Pick 7: Smillie (Saints) Pick 8: Travaglia (Saints) Pick 9: Reid (Melb) Probably fantasy for Lalor to slip through to us but if Richmond go O'Sullivan or Smith at 1 then I wouldn't completely rule it out. Likely one of the other teams grab him and in that case I think Langford is the one that gets through to us. Pick 9 I'm still torn on and will chop and change up until the draft. Reid has composure, ball use and is an excellent decision maker. Something our midfield can certainly use. Other mids I like are Allan, Berry, Lindsay, Hotton and Hynes I also see an argument for going tall and wouldn't be upset to see one of Armstrong, Shanahan or J Whitlock taken here or if a pick split occurs.
  8. Still a lot of unknowns, perhaps Adelaide wants to get infront of Carlton to secure Draper? Carlton take O'Sullivan then Langford or Smith get through to us. I don't think we can go wrong with any of these players to be honest.
  9. Sounds like there's a decent chance of O'Sullivan being available to us. Adelaide allegedly keen on Langford.
  10. Would be nice if it went like this.. 1. FOS (Rich) 2. Langford (Adel) 3. Draper (Carl) 4. Tauru (North) 5. Lalor (Melb)
  11. Umm.. looks like I was wrong. They somehow made it worse. Believe the reveal is this Friday morning so not 100% confirmed. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/afl/article-14070423/AFL-accidentally-leaked-new-Gold-Coast-Suns-new-team-logo-fans-not-happy.html
  12. You've got your fingers on the pulse, love it.
  13. Thanks Luci. That's a better spot for us to be in to add to our list.
  14. I'm sure I've read elsewhere that AMW will need to promoted to the cat-a list but can qualify for a 4th year as highlighted above. That link unfortunately doesn't clarify cat-b vs cat-a. Regardless we'll have two rookie spots. Either 2x cat-b or one of each.
  15. It's good to see Jefferson training on day 1 and with a bit more size already. Easy to forget he spent a lot of time in the rehab group last pre-season. Looking forward to his development.
  16. If we could turn 9 into Shanahan + Hynes that would be amazing.
  17. Small miracle required for him to slide through to us.
  18. I'd take Finn
  19. Usually a day or two before the draft isn't it? Or is that just the late mail addition?
  20. View now in the AFL App - Get to know: Harry Armstrong For the Armstrong lovers.
  21. I'm a fan as well. Kid is as competitive as it gets and rarely loses a contest. Another player people have been sleeping on is Berry. That kids a star in waiting in my view.
  22. Agree, he stands out whenever I see him play. Will be a beast when he gets midfield fitness under him. Another I quite like around this range is Berry, do you have any insights into him? Just looks a classy player with toughness and skill. More than just a small forward for mine.
