  1. We just need to find out which player weighs the same as a duck.
  2. Random Task replied to adonski's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Suspect we're more likely to lose players than we are to acquire them.
  3. Zac Jones fined for striking Oliver. To be honest I thought if Jones was going to get cited it would be for the deliberate charge/tunnelling of Langdon immediately prior to that. No attempt to contest the mark in my view and deliberately took out Langdon when he was in a vulnerable position.
  4. 6. Brayshaw 5. Langdon 4. Oliver 3. May 2. Petracca 1. Pickett Most players had good games but particularly loved Spargos work today as well.
  5. Congrats on 200 games and kicking his 150th goal as well. Played well today, hope he can keep it up.
  6. Oldest looking "colts" I've seen in my life.
  7. Brayshaw, Jackson, Spargo, Hunt are the noticeable names out of contract this year. Borderline best 22 players like Smith and Bedford are also ooc as are Laurie and Rosman, but none of these should be expensive to re-sign if that's our intention. Not sure if you have inside intel but the use of the word offload is interesting and could indicate a willingness to trade contracted players. The issue there is players can refuse and who would want to leave the club that's contending for flags? I do feel we will end up losing a best 22 player in the next two years, I just hope it's neither Oliver or Jackson. Preferably not brayshaw either.
  8. Looking forward to this game, most of my friends are saints supporters so we always pencil this game in at the start of the year. It's helped that the partner of one of my friends is a dees fan so I'm not so outnumbered and don't have to dish out all the insults. In fairness to them they all jumped on the dees bandwagon last year and helped me celebrate our drought breaking flag. They way they talk about their footy at the moment, hopeful but full of doubt and waiting for an enevitiable collapse, resonates all too well. I genuinely hope they continue on their good form and push for a flag in the coming years, and I'll happily celebrate with them too. Of course if it's against us they can all go get stuffed and drown in their own salty tears when they lose, as they can on Sunday as well.
  9. He's listed as a Covid top-up player for us prior to the start of the season so would imagine the club have been keeping tabs on him for a while.
  10. Is there anyway to make the video fit the full screen? My option is greyed out for some reason, watching via the app on my phone. Bit hard to watch. Landscape mode doesnt change it either.
  11. St Kilda 11.7 - 73 Defeated by Melbourne 12.19 - 91 Goals St Kilda: Steele 3, King 2, Membray, Battle, Billings, McKernan, Gresham, Higgins Melbourne: Viney, Pickett, McDonald 2, Jones, Neal-Bullen, Sparrow, Langdon, Spargo, Fritsch Best St Kilda: Steele, Billings, Howard, Ross, Gresham Melbourne: Oliver, Petracca, Salem, Pickett, Gawn
  12. Was listening to SEN a few days ago and Hinkley was asked which player he would like to have in his team if he could have anyone outside of Port. He chose Gawn without hesitation.
  13. In: Jackson, Pickett, Petty, ANB, Sparrow Out: Smith (inj), Dunstan, Melksham, McDonald, Bedford (super unlucky) I'm torn a bit on McDonald and Weideman. I personally want to see Weideman given more opportunities and feel he's been in slightly better form this year having kicked 8 goals in 5 games compared to McDonalds 6 goals in 6. McDonald did just have his best game of the year though save for a selfish bit of play. A good problem for the selectors to have. Covid may throw some curveballs yet as well.
  14. 6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Oliver 3. Viney 2. May 1. Brown
  15. Lever looking just a bit off with his decision making. Hope he finds his groove in the second half.
  16. We're ahead on percentage still.
  17. GWS should be playing like this most weeks with the talent they have. Freo absolutely a top 4 threat and potential premiership contender if they can maintain the rage for the rest of the year. Question I have is whether Geelong are still around the mark or if we are beginning to see the end.
  18. Out of all the potential upsets I didn't see gws doing a number on the crows. We also own crows 3rd round pick so the more they lose the (slightly) better it is for us.
  19. West Coast trying hard to obtain pick 1 for Jackson.
  20. Be interesting to see the teams and work out if anyone else is out due to health and safety protocols.
  21. Bedford well and truly deserving of a game. Will need to play incredibly well to hold his spot though as kozzie will come straight back in.
  22. Love your work, have watched all your edits. Nice extra dees content to consume during the week 👌
  23. I'm going for some mini upsets with little to no confidence. Tigers, dockers, crows, dees, power, blues, suns, bombers, swans. On a side note, Jack Carroll will make his debut for the blues this week after some great form in the VFL. Some demonlanders will be familiar with him as a popular player linked with one of our first round picks in 2020. We ultimately used those picks on Bowey and Laurie. Despite media links, we also overlooked him at pick 34 for Rosman with the blues eventually selecting him at 41. Think the kid has talent and look forward to see how he goes at the top level.
  24. I'd be more inclined to believe @Demon Forever they've had great mail in the past. Langdon may not even be aware of the latest results or told not to disclose anything on the radio.
