I saw a post once where someone claimed they ran into Blease and Gysberts somewhere where it was intimated that neither really enjoyed the stresses and expectations of AFL footy. Im guessing the lack of defensive improvements this year might be why Blease struggled under Roos. Good luck to him where ever he goes.

Plausible but conjectural. 3AW just quoted Danger recently stating that he would stay at Adelaide 'as long as Sando was the coach'. Someone said on SEN that Goodwin's manager has stated that he isnt interested in the Adelaide job. Neither of these observations are clear facts but both cast enough doubt on assertions.

no exactly. Why expect loyalty from players when the income of the teams that pay them is largely based on the emotional loyalty of their supportersif yhe supporters thought the same way mfc wpuld hace folded in the 80s. So if your ok with that then keep your eye on the gold and brown...

I think we need to stop the view that players can just leave when they like or get out asap. Lock them in a year bwfore they become free agents or trade them beforehand. The compo picks for free agents wont last forever
