Haven't got room for the Jets , Chargers , Dallas or Cinci - San Diego and the Jets are BIG outs but I'm thinking that KC may win the AFC West and , if the Bills beat the Jets this week ..................

I agree with you re the tanking - though I don't like any part of it - however small . The NBA have a lottery system ( as you know ) and there is very little tanking talk - a simple solution but it may never happen in the AFL cos of the aversion to anything American . What has "Vlad" said over and over again - "There is no such thing as tanking" - what a joke ! Yeah , as ya said - top line up of games this week - wish I could watch them all ! Might be some "trap" games in there - there usually is ! The Packers , Pats , Eagles and Saints still need to bring their A games this week .

Including Messi of course . Interestingly La Liga has 13 players nominated , the EPL has 4 , Serie A and the Bundesliga have 2 each . Well , this week you'd expect most of the top teams to win - with Spurs away to Fulham a tricky one to pick ( Monday morning 3am ) There's nearly always an upset or 3 however , so a draw in this round will be looked upon as a loss by the teams in the race for Champions league spots . Newcastle just HAVE to beat Everton at home ( Sat 11.45 pm ) because their next 3 weeks after that are tough - away to Man City , away to Man Utd , then at home versus Chelsea ! Seen better rounds though the 2 aforementioned games should be cracker's . Also, it will be interesting to see how Man City handle Loftus Road ( Sunday morning 4.30am ) Arsenal should beat West Brom at home . And Man Utd (vs Sunderland) , Liverpool (vs Swansea) and Chelsea (away to Blackburn) should all get the 3pts - these 4 games are all on at 2am Sunday morning . Wolves are at home to Wigan in the early kickoff game on Sunday ( Just after midnight Sunday our time ) Cheers , Nuggets

Not many upsets last week though the Rams had a great win over the Saints ( who were never really in it ) And KC's win was a bit of a surprise though I thought they played really well - how's that fumbled snap by Philip Rivers ? Who da thunk it ! Yeah , as others have posted it's a mystery why ONEhd aren't doing the NFL live but if ya can hang out till 11.30pm Monday they will show the 49ers @ Washington followed by the Giants @ New England at 2.45am ! The Giants are a bit banged up at the moment and San Francisco should win . For Foxtel viewers the 5am game is the Bucs at New Orleans then at 8.15am it's my team the Packers at San Diego - might have to have one of those mystery 4 hour viruses so I can watch it live !! SNF features the Ravens @ Pittsburgh - this should be a beauty - one of the biggest rivalry's going and always a tough contest hey ! MNF is the Bears @ Philadelphia - another good match up though the Eagles are starting to fire . It's a good round of games with a couple of "bottlers" in the Jets @ Buffalo and Cinci @ Tennessee , and you'd reckon that Houston will beat Cleveland at home and KC should take care of Miami at home as well . The "tanking" talk in the states is gaining momentum - would have thought they'd have a lottery system by now ( like the NBA ) It's looking like it's gonna be the Colts or Miami that will get Andrew Luck - both teams have a lot of "loseable" games ! I like your point re the extra concessions and the junket aspect of this venture . The AFL will keep throwing tens of millions to keep it alive - they're obsessed with the Sydney market . Membership figures and crowd numbers will probably be exaggerated .

Really hope we haven't seen the end of Wonna - he's still only 23 ( just turned ) Perhaps in a year or 2 he'll have another crack at it - and get himself picked up ( at least as a rookie ) . Reckon Clubs will have to look at more mature age players in the future . Especially with the talent pool spread over 18 teams .

Wasn't aware that you might lose Van Persie - he's contracted till 2013 yeah? Then again , if the player wants to go ............... That's why Champions league qualification is so important - it's going to be a great race to the finish line with so many Teams in contention .

We might get some sort of "Ex Gratia Payment" in the future from the AFL . Wouldn't think it would be a draft pick for reasons you have outlined . Maybe another "Kind" draw in 2013 ? Anyway , a possible small win is that people are less inclined to say "You tanked for $cully so you got your just desserts" from here on in - The focus in a lot of people's eyes may be in "how" we lost him . Or at least we can "steer" people in that direction . The tanking jibes annoy me . So many other Clubs have done it and we are ( were ? ) the flavour of the month . Tanking in the AFL has happened at least a dozen times over the years - Pies in 2005 , Blues in 2006 and 2007 , Hawks in 2004 and 2005 - it's a long , grubby list .

Yeah , Philadelphia spanked the 'boys on SNF - Dallas just didn't turn up - disappointing game for the neutral fan , but you'd be happy ! As A Packers the fan it's the Giants and the Eagles that worry me the most though my team should have home field advantage this time . Can't see a wildcard coming out of this division so the Eagles are gonna have to win it . The Giants have a really tough run though and it's too early to discount Dallas completely , The Redskins will provide nuisance value . Whoever wins the NFC East will be dangerous in the playoffs you'd reckon . Cheers
