What makes me chuckle is how the "experts" in the States change their opinion on all things NFL on a weekly basis . But , they kinda have to cos a lot can change in a week . For instance - that Giants win in New England changes 2 divisions dramatically - question marks everywhere And if the 49ers beat the Giants this week they'll be 8 / 1 and there will be pundits jumping on board big time . I wish they would play 20 games instead of 16 so we could get another month of it but I spose with 16 it makes every game vital for the contenders . And I really rate McCoy btw but I thought I'd give 2nd to Forte this week because of his game against your blokes . Peterson is an absolute gun .

Top 5 RB's 1 - Peterson 2 - Forte 3 - McCoy 4 - Gore 5 - Jackson Turner , Jones-Drew and Tate are right up there . Top 5 WR's 1 - Smith 2 - Wallace 3 - Welker 4 - Johnson 5 - Fitzgerald Boldin, Jennings and Maclin aren't too shabby either .

Well here goes with the top 12 teams and top 10 QB's - I'll do the WR's and RB's in a day or so , 1 - Green Bay 2 - Baltimore 3 - N Y Giants - tough next 5 games 4 - 49ers - this week will tell a tale ( vs Giants ) 5 - Pittsburgh 6 - New Orleans 7 - New England ( They might be in trouble ) 8 - N Y Jets - Back in it ? 9 - Houston 10 - Chicago - Cutler the key 11 - Detroit 12 - San Diego - 45pts vs the Packers - decent effort KC , Philadelphia , Buffalo have been dumped ( for now ) and Atlanta and Cinci are unlucky QB's 1 - Rodgers 2 - Brady - is he on the wane ? 34yo now . 3 - Brees 4 - Eli - a bit maligned 5 - Ben 6 - Vick - if the Eagles start winning he could go to no.3 or 4 7 - Rivers 8 - Newton - how good is this bloke gonna be ? 9 - Cutler - starting to come good . 10 - Stafford Ryan , Flacco , Schaub , Smith and Romo could all be in the 7 - 10 range

In another browser I wait for the song to start then pause it - then simply copy and paste the http address to here - highlighting the address of course . Hope that makes sense Wyl - good tune btw - good heavy driving beat - I'll give it a few listens tonight - I'm a bit the same with Oasis - like 4 or 5 of their songs - "Wonderwall" and "The Shock of the Lightning" are fav's of mine ..

Yeah I agree , the Eagles are going to have to play a lot better - looked out of sorts against Chicago . Anyway I'll prob do top 12's 10's 5's tonight - Oakland @ San Diego this Friday ( our time ) Beauty ! Might even try and tip the winners this week - post that on the weekend - San Diego to win against the Raiders to start off . 15 games next Sunday / Monday btw

Bad luck Dappa but I don't reckon you're quite done yet . You could be within 1 game in 2 weeks time . The Eagles surely will take care of Arizona at home and the Giants have a tough one at San Fran . Then you play each other at NY . A lot can happen in this League and injuries can play a big part as well . And Dallas will drop a few games you'd think . The Giants don't get an easy game until week 15 - they've got the Saints away in week 12 , Green Bay at home in week 13 and they've got to go to Dallas in week 14 . In those same weeks you've got N.E at home ( they're not that good anymore ) then @ Seattle , then @ Miami . If the Giants win most of their remaining games then it's over but ya never know . 10 / 6 might be enough to win the division .

You gave me an idea with the Jasper Carrott post ( which I liked btw ) Maybe a "Humourous Clips" thread - what do you think ? Benny , Hoges , Hale and Pace , Dave Allen , D Gen , Two Ronnies , etc etc

There's probably a lot of players who got knocked back before the draft started up - think we knocked back "The Dominator" as well - whoops !

Yeah Redleg - knew that bit about Prahran but I'm fairly sure he had a tryout with us around that time as well and we knocked him back . We used to have a bit of a connection with the "Two Blues" if you remember - Emselle and a few others ?

Checked with 3 sources re the "knocked back as a player" bit , but I stand to be corrected of course .

We may never know for sure but Sheedy may let something slip in the next year or so that gives it away ........ he will want to rub it in - that's been his style forever and a day .

Long felt that $cully became Sheedy's obsession . We knocked Sheedy back as a player in the 60's and then knocked him back as a Coach . He's has a ruthless , nasty , vindictive streak that knows no bounds - rat cunning is the best way to describe him . These sort of people hold grudges forever - lets just hope it all turns to ..................

Yeah , a bit of a different top 12 this week hey - I'll wait till Wednesday to post mine - would like to see a few other poster's top 12 as well - gives us something to talk about till next weeks games - maybe a top 10 QB's as well - whadaya reckon ? Btw I may even have a different no.1 Team ! And how was that Ravens / Steelers game ? Lived up to it's billing - Flacco was really good again - he's getting better . Looking forward to the Eagles / Bears game - Tuesday night football !

Yep , the Jets are right back in it now and the Pats have got some competition in that division - Eli was good and the Giants won't go away easily . Watched the Packers game on delay and the Chargers came back well and could easily have won it in the end - a real shootout . The Texans , the 49ers and the Bengals just keep winning - Atlanta are sneakin' up there and that AFC West is a crapshoot !

Yeah Demon - jumping right off KC ! ( sorry "pantaloons" ) How did they lose by so much at home ? To Miami ? And you're right about the Texans - they should win their division and if they win enough games ................... I'll revisit my top 12 again on Wednesday ! 49ers just keep rolling along hey - good to see .

" Person of Interest " is worth a look - it's a bit "out there" but if you like that sort of thing ................ And "Louie" is excellent - more of a comedy/drama than a straight comedy but very funny in parts .
