Ha ha! The Ref expert? If anything, there is an issue with the rules, not the ref's They have been told to protect the QB so it stands to reason that that overprotection will result But that ruling is fair for all QB's and Mahomes is clever enough to milk the contact better than most (or all) Much like Selwood with the high contact in footy. 500+ times he received questionable frees which often resulted in forward 50 forays The AFL did nothing (and still do nothing) and it's a blight on the sport So essentially we probably agree but change the rules I say

Houston played well against the Chargers but outplayed by the Chiefs today. On the road a team needs to score TD's (unless it's a snow match) and the Texans came up way short As for the Chiefs, they get the rub of the green (sometimes) but you make your own luck Mahomes is a very clever player and he knows how to milk a penalty (especially with that late decision to slide feet first, which confuses the defenders)
-
His foot is out once he controls the ball. Houston got lucky on that call
-
Houston have had plenty of chances to score points but they're just not up to it ... 12 points halfway through the 4th quarter isn't going to get it done
-
The last roughing the passer was definitely the right call. Stupid defenders hell-bent on cleaning up Mahomes when he slid legs first Just don't hit the QB in the head. They should know the rules by now. Dumb-[censored] defenders
-
Mahomes certainly knows how to milk a penalty. But technically, the calls are correct The same over-the-top conspiracy theories surrounded the Patriots year after year (but not any more, since they don't win any more!)
-
By the way, the 3 favoured home teams with either the Bills or Ravens combines for 30-1 if all taken at the 1-13 bracket #GambleResponsibly
-
Detroit 7-12 Eagles 1-6 KC 7-12 Bills 1-6 Bills/Ravens game to be decided by an error in the snow?!!? Hard to split them otherwise And the Rams are a real chance as is Washington (if the Commanders can somehow stifle Detroits offense)

Just announced that Channel 7 will be covering the 2 Tests from Sri Lanka (against Australia) First of 2 Tests starts Wed 29th January. 2nd Test starts Thursday 6th February Hours of play 3.30pm - 10.30pm (or thereabouts) Playing for the Warne/Muralitharan trophy and if Australia retain the trophy it will mean that Australia will hold every Test trophy where a trophy is up for grabs (involving Australia) Plus the ODI World cup trophy as well as the WTC Trophy Speaking of which, Australia will be up against South Africa in the WTC Championship that will be played at Lords June 11th - June 15th The other big match up during the Northern Summer is the 5 Test series between England & India (in England)

Buffalo is being listed at -7/-11 for the Sunday evening game (with snow showers) Scoreline might be minimal!

Not really, layz, but Love wasn't 100% Eagles win anyway and I reckon they can go all the way But no game is a gimme. A turnover or 2 in this sport can change the course of any game. So the Rams next weekend are in with a shot, no doubt

Since the expansion of the playoffs only 5 of 30 games have been decided by 7 points or less in the wildcard weekend

Darnold having a nightmare game
-
You should be further ahead on the scoreboard. Vikings have been ordinary (by their own standards)
-
Rams defence supreme Sacks, interceptions and pressuring Darnold constantly. Secondary well on top as well
-
Love didn't look right but the Packers had the option of playing Willis But in all reality, getting past a top outfit like the Eagles on their turf was always a tall order for a team like the Packers In that situation you need a few things going your way like a pick 6 or recovering a fumble. Or a magical play or 2, leading to a TD or 2 And none of that happened. Scoring only 10 points told the story But the Packers should at least know what they need to do to become a genuine contender

Next Week's Schedule (AEDT) Sun 8.30am Texans @ KC (-8.5) Sun 12.00pm Washington @ Detroit (-8.5) Mon 7.00am Rams/Vikings @ Eagles (???) Mon 10.30am Ravens @ Buffalo (1.5)
-
So we now know that Washington go to Detroit next week And either the Rams or Vikes will be on the road to Philly Washington can win if they can somehow curtail the Lions scoring power (but I don't like their chances) And the Eagles match-up will be interesting, either way
