If alcohol is not the answer, I don't want to hear the question. There are times in a man's life when an answer is irrelevant. John Lord, because I could always pick his bald head from anywhere around the ground. He was later replaced by Hassa Mann and then Robbie Flower who gave me as much pleasure as anybody deserves. 3. Making the finals in 87 and seeing Robbie Flower run on the G to play finals. 4. Losing to Hawthorn in the 87 Prelim 5. I believe that we will rise to the heights of finals and a premiership in the next five years. Having said that, If we don't I am refusing to die until we do. I'll be 63 next month and will be running my 17th marathon in October. Running has given me a resting heart rate of 50 bpm and my doctor describes me as "a heart with legs". I'm convinced I can live to 150 if that's how long it's going to take. Go Dees!

A very happy day. The Dees beat the [censored] and my daughter is about to give birth to a grandson. Not sure which I'm more excited about. Don't tell my wife I said that. The whisky tastes good! A fresh bottle bought yesterday to wet the baby's head - not sure there's going to be much left. Ah well, there's always beer or champers.
