  1. Charlie Sheen - the actor with an apt first name.

Should've bumped thread when he kicked a last gasp goal to give us the win against the Eagles at Subiaco. He had a shitofa game much like the rest of the team but I'll agree that come finals he'd be a risky proposition down back based off today's effort.
  3. Bump! For the reason, that watching Roughy tonight, reminds me of Jesse as a player. Not a dominant lead up forward but certainly has that capability, mobile and cat like at marking contest, can roam long and wide up the ground and can definitely go through the gutz when needed. Looking forward to Hoges hitting the scoreboard again this weekend.
  4. Okay, okay, OKAY!

Pretty sure any potential gun rumoured to be coming to the Dee's is labelled as being a Dee's supporter as a kid on demonland.
  6. Considering Frost wanted to return to Melbourne and I can recall the commentary by himself about how good it was to be back in Vic, I would be very surprised to see him move to Adelaide. That said, I reckon he'll move to another Vic based club if Lever comes to us and still ultimately be part of the trade.
  7. Those comment came from Jon Ralph. Above poster clearly mixed up I'd hope.
  8. I hope I'm speaking for everyone in this thread, but I for one will get around STMJ with any anonymous emotional support he needs if this doesn't come to fruition.
  9. It's gonna look awkward if the Crows win the Flag and then lose Lever and McGovern.

Leaving a team WITH the best young list in the league, on the cusp of Premiership glory, and returning to Victoria would also beg the question of him being the full quid. Is he in it for the money or is he wanting to play in GF's? I reckon he'll extend a couple of years. He's in a team chock full of stars and whoever is in charge of working contracts and player salaries up there has their work cut out for them. Would he consider the MFC as a likely Premiership contender and play for us, probably on a salary similar to what he'd be getting offered to stay at the Giants (I'm factoring in having Lever also on board) I'm not too sure but I like the sound of it.
  11. Their power forward is looking risky.
  12. So we're next. Stayin at Crows
  13. So is this not confirmation to the Crows that he's not staying?
  14. We've probably already done that with Kielty.
  15. Panty sniffers.
  16. ah, so you mean Salem. Agree.
  17. Are you seriously putting Oscar into the Dawson category??
  18. Freo are letting go of Zac Dawson if we can't Lever...

This type of player is surplus to our needs. No.
  20. Carlton getting ripped off.
  21. WGAS. We've got Oscar.
  22. Everything is going badly for us at the moment. Our defence appeared to be in tatters yesterday. I don't think Jake Lever could've changed the course of yesterday's game too much.
  23. We've also proven we can defend scores without Lever. Letting go of Hogan is completely illogical. I can't believe it's even being considered.
  24. Sorry mate, I didn't pick up the sarcasm.
  25. Let's just deal with facts for now rather than individual Utopian views. So let's say it'll be pick 10 and Tyson for Lever and pick 36. Tyson has his knockers about butchering the pill a bit but there's no doubt he's one of our best ball winners in the team. I think Dom has got immense improvement left in him and is a key player type to execute our game plan. Lever looks great and probably deserves our first rounder but not one of our top line mids as well - I wouldn't even give ANB as part of the deal. For all of the posters gushing over Lever there's a few that also recognise he plays in a defence that has an AA defender in Talia and another big bloke in Hartigan and a jet in Laird. I just think you're proposal is way overs mate.
