  3. nor does it really apply to the fans I would think
  4. if he is not turning up to training can we sack him for breach of contract. he is obviously not doing as directed by the club, and surely there is a clause in the players contracts to end them if the player is not playing ball.
  5. To be more specific, it is located on page 14 of our financial report. TOTAL NON CURRENT LIABILITIES $4,724,772
  6. It is sitting at about $4.7 million at the moment

  8. does anyone know of the status of Mich white and Joel smith? as far as I can find their contracts both end this year?
  9. still 3 spots availabvle on rookie list, you can have 4 rookies and 3 cat.B rookies.
  10. Yes but it is a fine line between not suing the club and getting legal advice in preparation to sue
  11. Great! That has just added more confusion and contradiction Now he not suing us but is seeking legal advice to see if can get more cash
  12. I have a copy as well although not with the signatures I was just flicking through it and found an old photo of the 1960 premiership team which cant be from this book as it was published in december of 1957 If i can work out how to put a picture of it up here i will
  13. Good point It certainly would be good to completely wipe the debt
  14. I was thinking the same thing and did a little searching found this. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-season-2016-debt-down-but-losses-mount-for-afl-clubs-20160206-gmnb1h.html This seems to suggest a debt of $4.99mil as of February 2016 so about $4.5mil left
  15. do we know why Melksham is in the rehab group?? he has just had a year off, is it just to get back into the swing of things or has he somehow injured himself in that time?
  16. Garry Lyon has confirmed he will be back on footy classified next year, and no Footy Show.
  17. vickery now a hawk... fromm afl website... DONE DEAL: VICKERY JOINS HAWKS Richmond has confirmed it won't match Hawthorn's offer for free agent Ty Vickery, allowing the tall forward to join the Hawks on a two-year deal. The AFL has confirmed the Tigers will receive a round two compensation pick, currently pick No.26 based on the contract offer and Vickery's age.
  18. yeah, i know, that is why i am conflicted... do you take he best mid in the league, or the best forward?
  19. this whole thing has me extremely conflicted. he has had a bad year, but i am of the firm belief he will be one of the best forwards of the comp. my first preference would be to keep him but if he needs to go home i want the kitchen sink for him without feeling ripped off. fyfe? i just don't know... yes he was the best player in the league in 2015. but he has now had 2 broken legs. i I am just not confident you can come back from that and have the same athletic level. even if fyfe comes back to his best will I be happy? if hogan turns out to be carey-esque then the answer is probably no? my biggest concern is the loss of forward power. with watts and weiderman (who needs another year at least) as our leading forwards, then pedo(assuming he is still there) I am not sure there will be enough goals there.
