  1. Even half decent KFs win the occasional 50/50 battle and kick the odd goal TU. Petty just doesn't. He was even rag dolled in a 1 v1 against a 4 gamer on the wing at one point today. Not having a go at Turner as he's a bare boned rookie, especially as a forward. This fail is entirely on Goodwin for stubbornly continuing to play a guy who was never in any form for over two months and was brought back from injury severly under done and clearly not ready to play at VFL level let alone AFL level. Playing Turner again is another massive fail after last week. The entire season wasted through stubburness, stupidity, a team bereft of skills, run and below AFL standard pressure almost every week bar the Cartlon game. That's at least 50% on the coach.
  2. Hope you're "leaning into this" Simon
  3. For anyone watching and stressing over this dross we're dishing up, i'd highly recommend you try painting something. Great MFCSS therapy
  4. Sparrow, Chandler & Petty should not be playing. Assuming a second half the same as that first... i'd add Clarry to that but will wait to see if he can turn it around. Viney has also been a long way off his best for whatever reason since the Crows game.
  5. I think you're right RTG Goodwin has coached every last drop of run, dare, creativity and skills out of this group. The game plan is SO strict and boring that as you say, they are now (mostly) just purely reactive robots and sit back hoping not to make mistakes or look bad. Either that or something's gone down off the field that we are yet to hear about. They over handball far too often and have no method in transition. It's just a conplete horror show, even against shizen oppo like the Eagles.
  6. They are so shiiite scared of turning the ball over and getting caught that they just panic the ball off any which way. A team completely devoid of confidence, skills, run and high pressure. How did we become this bad in four weeks of footy?
  7. How did our skills become the worst in the AFL in 6.5 matches?
  8. Petty straight swap for T-Mac ... We will lose comfortably with the present line up amyway
  9. Did not look. Just tumbled it inside. I'd drag him straight away. Message meeds to be sent.
  10. I love Rivers endeavour, attacking the game and run. But can he PLEASE clean up his disposal by foot. It's FAAARRKED
  11. Turner to Hoskin Elliot now
  12. Get Turner out of that forward line. Too many poor turnovers now under little to no pressure. I'd bring Bowey up forward and Turner into his role ... or just bench him for now
  13. Nice from Macca there and good hit up from Max. Max our best so far
  14. Too early... he's a step up from Clarry right now but that's off a shocking first quarter
  15. Chandler continues his horrible form from 6 of the last 7 weeks
  16. Woeful quarter. His head is not in the game and skills abhorrent in that quarter. The forward line has no system, no method. It's shambolic. The filth were in their heads before they even ran out it seems. We look like we've rattled ourselves! No skills, no dare, no flair and no structure. Petty Pffft Needs at least 4 goals to retain his spot from here. Soft as and just nowhere.
  17. I could not see a finger touch? Is my eyesight that poor?
  18. When will kozzy learn to stay down. Why hasn't he been told in 3 seasons of footy?
  19. I wouldve played May forward today on Mayturd. Fullo in for Petty. JVR in for Hunter. Turner down back but off the bench to cover the Rivers role when he's pushed into the middle. Tommo stays in to play the May role. This needed to be a statement game in more ways than one. "We should've smoked em" needs to be followed up with actions on the field.
  20. Don't worry i won't tell anyone WC. I like how you're being so innocent and coy though. Right up to the last minute. Just remember to fully rip that secret seam open before leaping over the fence and swing from the bleachers yeh!
  21. I have it on good authority that she has a baseball bat in the shape of a rude finger that someone stitched into a hidden section of her duffle coat...
  22. One of the easist fixtures and not by accident
  23. Any idea if we are likely to be putting a corralling cooler on Nick tomorrow? Be insanity if we don't. If so who gets the job half done?
  24. Alot of tomorrow's outcome will come down to will, want, fight and desperation imv NS. But yes there's a fair bit of grasping at straws and just poor judgement going on with selection here me thinks. Goodwin will have had to try and wind the clock back big time on the track this week in an attempt to arrest the massive slide away from our past three years dominance in contested & clearance DNA. Much of that task will fall on an under-manned mid field that, aside from Tracc who also plays a fair chunk forward, sees our two contested bulls either a fair way off their early season form (Viney roughly 18% down post Rnd 5) & Clarry (approx 23% down on 2023 but pulling that back in the last 6 weeks... his rating up 29% on his first six weeks but off a low base). It will take a mamoth effort from the entire 22 + sub to get over the line tomorrow. Especially if it's raining. We also need to bring sustained heat on the opponent, particularly up forward in order to retain the pill inside 50 where we've been bleeding like a sieve with Kozzy playing too much mid time to bring his usual heat (inside 50 tackles down nearly 50% this season and 33% down over the last six weeks vs Rnds 0 to 5). Those hoping JVR might bring the heat inside 50 tomorrow might also want to think again. Zero inside 50 tackles in his last four matches. General tackles down 68% during this period also vs his first six matches (Rnds 0 - 5). One percenters dropping away by 20% this season vs 2023. Havent checked pressure acts. You could once rely on us to bring the heat and pressure opponents into turnover and ensure a pretty decent retention game inside 50 in most matches from 2021 - 2023. That has ebbed away big time this season where we are now pretty poor at both. I realise we have trialled a diff method which is fine. But appeared to have over balanced here and the change hasn't given us an edge in 'scoring off defensive mid turnover' for all that we've given up. In fact if anything, all it's done has made us a relatively easy team to score against and ended up playing too many players out-of-form. To the point that the entire (prior) team method / DNA has almost dissapeared. We're about to find out if one week of pretty much a full 360 here plus a few personnel changes (by SG & the FD) will have the desired effect and arrest the recemt slide.
  25. He's laughing at what Maysie has just told him is in store for WCW at her next Cap Run...
