  1. Round 2, 2024 MCG - Hawks vs Demons Forward line - Mids/others clicking✅ Focus on 'Team' first selfless principles✅ More fun & enjoyment, Relaxed Group = Improved Perf✅ Team performance off a tad from the previous week but i suspect that's the fallout from the May & Lever issue so no issues here unless one or more are out for months or worse. Bottom 6 in particular but that rating was impacted substantially by the above issue also and is no doubt an outlier from the norm. Clarry's rating impacted by the tag but still a very solid game from the champ all things considered. Some of the boys are in some pretty serious form here in general over the last two weeks 👏 Demon scoring efficiency... Disposals Per Goal 25.71 % In50s Goal 25.50 Conversion % 60.90 One of Tracc's best games in the red & blue? 25 effectives @ 86%, 6 clearances, 8 inside 50s, 3 tackles, 11 score involvements (most on the day - both teams), 3 intercepts, 1 goal, 2 one percenters (what was the other one!?), 5th in pressure points & 463 meters gained. Sparrow bounces back with a huge turnaround on last week's rating (20th) coming in at No.2! 16 Effectives @ 80%, 2 one percenters, 3 clearances, 4 inside 50s, 7 tackles (most on the day - both teams), 6 score involvements, 3 intercepts, 1 goal, 3rd in pressure points & 319 meters gained. Another solid rating from Langdon. Rivers getting back to his 2023 best? ANB & Pickett stepping up on their 2023 results in a big way. Fritta also having his best game for some time. While not expecting 5 snags every week, let's hope he can maintain something close to that form. 2. Thanks gents. Looks like a no. I seem to recall seeing dogs there in a final late 2022 but memory from then is sketchy
  3. Marty is super fit and will handle the intercept role to aplomb imv IF Lever is out
  4. Not possible for the entire game L Sometimes you need to control the game / momentum and allow fellow players to recharge a little. While making the oppo work and at the same time preventing them scoring. You might add the odd bonus goal also if your kicking / leading is on Then back to swarming mode again. Our best DNA for mine is the ability to do both and knowing when to do so. And being able to do so as we've seen in the last two matches.
  5. Does anyone know if you're allowed to bring dogs to Casey home games?
  6. 100%. It's better than playing on at break neck only to hand the ball straight back and see the oppo get some cheapies in junk time. We did this beautifully for much of the match against the Dogs and got the chockies. I was hoping we would bring this for stages in the 2nd but we preferred to pick and roll more often which i thought played into the Hawk's game a bit.
  7. 50 more disposals per goal than us today. Must be some sort of record. At one point they switched 4 consecutive times across HB. Disposals per Goal Hawks Demons 76.6 25.7 (last week 24.5)
  8. He had also removed the strapping by the time the siren blew
  9. Fritta guarding grass in front of Sicily therr...get up on him and pressure son!!
  10. Agree re Brown. Not reading it as well this week? Chandler's brought immense pressure around the arc though imv. For a small fella he does struggle to get away from his opponent on the receive at times and capatilise which is a tad worrying. Not easy at this level of course. Needs a bit more strength through legs & core maybe?
  11. That is part of the plan being put forward apparently
  12. My understanding is, we are just crossing some Ts for Govt funding / approval. All going well there should be an aannouncement by the end of this year. Assuming it gets the go ahead, we are on track to commence building of the facility at the Heath sometime in 2025.
  13. Ty to the three amigos also (Kev, WCW & Andy) 🤙🏻👏🏼 Might make my way down on Monday
  14. Crikey. Back to the drawing board then.
  15. I reckon WCW does too. So much so i reckon she probably used it and her & Smacca are now BFFL
  16. Damn! It does have a kind of ring to it. Actually i just realised it's spelt Smacka. Even easier! And you can show him this good lookin (somewhat famous) fella from back in the day. Very stylish! He can trial this as the latest rehab kit! P.S. I can still send Uber Eats down with a Bloody Mary. Actually i'll make it two, one for Smacka as well. Would that help!??
  17. Shmacca? WCW yell that out and see what ya get back 😅
  18. You can take it off now WCW ... then maybe head to a local Richmond gym or YMCA for a quick shower. If not i doubt you'll be getting close enough to any of the boys to hear their nicks.
  19. Initially i was ecstatic about last night's result. Having slept on it overnight i think it's best we maimtain our decorum and respect here folks and not get too carried away with the Filth's 0 - 3 opening...
  20. Henry looking the goods arghhh
  21. Yeh nah. There's an old saying.... don't flirt with 'WINNING' form. Absolutely zero case for Petty to be anywhere near the G this week, even as sub. Was a mile off the pace at the Casey praccy apparently. Just give him another half to three quarters to try & find some touch at Casey vs the Hawks plus bringing him up to some decent match fitness before throwing him in the deep end. This would also allow the sports science guys and doc to monitor how he pulls up each quarter with no pressure to continue on at the lower level if there's any minor issues. Cotton wool and scans/review again during the week. Hie's an important cog for us and we need him there at the pointy end. Would have made no change and brought Joey on a little earlier than we did against the Dogs to see where he's at and try and instil some confidence before another stint at Casey depending on how he went. Having said that we should still be in a strong position to post a solid W here if we can hold our form against the dogs.
  22. Yes that's another blow. Joey (Woey) is a handy in if he is in and certainly needs the run as well.
