  1. Talk about soft! Break out the marshmallows!
  2. That about sums it up. Straight lines into the 50 or mark just outside, panic and play on then kick it to no one or no one's advantage. Zero pressure inside 50 when the ball hits the deck. They are first to the loose ground balls i50 almost always. Our two way running through the middle from our big boys is shot. They can't even run with old man danger even when theyre right alongside him at the drop. Aside from Koz there's just a lack of guys hitting the ball drop at pace. Too stagnant and reactionary. Someone needs to be on the move at stoppages and 666. This just doesn't look like a big rockets been pile drived through the camp when it should've been. Hec the do or die kill or be killed response should've come last week. Is there any chance we can look inside as first option when coming off HB instead of kicking in straight lines most of the time, often to a 2 v 1!??? Plenty of time left for so many to not leave so much to so few in this game and grow a leg for the win.
  3. Not this olde chestnut!
  4. Yibbeda Yibbeda...

  6. I'd love to say something but can't given the spewfest we've dished up in the last two weeks
  7. Is there any way we can sue the CFC for Voss stealing Simon's "forward entry methods" playbook?

  9. Common Mr Leg, by the time Tuesday rolls around you just know HQ et al will be calling it "A Footy Act"
  10. I reckon most clubs would be saying the same inside the four walls 227
  11. I suspected as such, but still saddened to have it confirmed that Andy has me on mute
  12. Houston we have a problem 1 down......
  13. Dub did you have to moz him. You do know he averages about 5 goals every time we play him.
  14. The Blues should just snatch this. The Pies slightly off and Curnow is on.
  15. Winners are grinners DS. A 27% winning rate in the last 18 matches will do that to a club with a FIXture arrangement (hint...it's not a Draw)
  16. Great vision and handball to find Cripps there
  17. Ah yes i stand corrected thanks Bing
  18. Excuse my ignorance but am i correcting in thinking Spargo is replacing Billings?
  19. Didn't play on Sunday. Must be under a cloud.
  20. Not in this climate. Showing signs at Casey in patches and starting to hit his straps there somewhat. Rather see him keep building there, especially given the pressure cooker we've dumped ourselves in in this first block of opening losses. Might be ok as the odd temp cover for one of our TDs should they spend some time on the sidelines if we get back on the winning list at some stage. Would hate to have him come in for half a game, get smacked up a bit, then out again the following week et al as he's just starting to build his confidence and playing some good footy now.
  21. Yes was mentioned that Riv was meant to play in middle from the start of season but is covering for knuckles till his return
  22. 24. A few thoughts following the GC game... Jesse Craven had a very impressive second half. One to keep an eye on. Very clean hands, puts himself in the right positions (some lovely crumbs) and a number of quality second efforts and pressure acts / tackles. Appears to be super fit as well, heavily involved right up to the closing bell, including some timely clearances. Laurie had some fab moments and a very solid three quarters but also continues to dish up some very ordinary turnovers under solid pressure and a few clangers / basic fumbles in traffic and on the move as fatigue set in late. Not alone of course and not sure they would outweight the good in terms of getting a call up but he is still a worry for mine in a stepping up sense to AFL. One of his better games for Casey though. Possibly the best Casey game i've seen from Fullo who presented well & used his body nicely in some aerial contests. Kicked quite accurately and also very unselfish on a few occasions. Held his own at times as the chop out ruck for Verral when Campbell went down and well beaten on a number of others but he was up against a monster oppo ruck in Moyle. Verral improving but still not sure what assets he is bringing to the table in order to make a difference at the higher level. Will be an interesting watch in 2025 though as he continues to make marginal improvements with his ruck craft and also somewhat improved with follow up ground level stuff. Disco had a day out both up forward and as the loose extra behind play during red time in most quarters. At times he also lurked outside the press with great effect. His follow up work at ground level in a pressure and one percenter sense was impressive. I personally think we should persevere with him at senior level with alot less chopping and changing between seniors and Casey as he gives the impression he is almost ready and mature enough to hold down a role at AFL level. Would offer great swing man flexibility for a coach at senior level too, playing both to aplomb at VFL level. Albeit still alot to learn before cementing himself at AFL which is obviously the toughest gig going. Goes without saying he'll be straight in this week after such an impressive four quarter performance. BOG for mine.
  25. Waiting for the return of knuckles
