NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Stringer out of the Essendon Geelong clash. Nobody in the AFL I hate more… but on the other hand it helps Geelong.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Well Bevo got what he wanted. Watching the sports news and not a single mention of how the Dogs lost yet again or gave up a good lead yet again. Deflection for the win.

VOTES: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
He literally never missed a target. He’s the Salem of the forwardline. Just such a smart footy player.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Jesus that is appalling from Morris. He’s a dweeb. Bevo was out of line and an embarrassment to his footy club. The whole thing is a hot mess and helps us to beautifully go under the radar. Go Dees!

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
It still makes me laugh that Bevo thinks that leaking Hunter's non selection is so damaging that it could have been why they lost. Mate, Hunter is an average plodder. Goodwin would have given him 0.4 seconds of air time in the team meeting. Also the late outs and playing swings and roundabouts with your selections is really odd. Such a dumb thing to waste energy on, up there with cracking the sads over a crappy doof doof song.

NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Gonna be fun to watch Carlton fans' season over in round 1 again. I am hard on Gold Coast to beat West Coast. Cats v Bombers is gonna be a hard watch. I hate Geelong, but who wants Essendon to win?! Lions will destroy Port.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
I am not sure the wing is JJ's jam. But understand he was there because Gus was playing defence. Poor Gus is just the 'plug a hole man'. Such a great team player. Tmac was great defensively. Then he fluffed two kicks coming out of defence and I had immediate PTSD. We were lucky to play a side with only one really good tall forward. We will struggle with Lever and Salem against potent forwardlines. Hunt destroying floppy Weightman was wonderful. I loath that kid.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Gawn looked beyond buggered in the last. I think we won’t be at our best for another 4-5 weeks.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Even if Tom Morris killed his cat, is that really how an AFL coach behaves? It was unprofessional. It was rude. It was total deflection and it was embarrassing for the Dogs and the AFL. Take it off line.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Didn’t hear Bevo say anything about “gutter journalism” when Goodwin got attacked in the media with rubbish leaks about him drinking gambling and being a bully. Suited his agenda then didn’t it? Absolute nuffy behavior from a sore loser. Also big LOLs if he thinks Hunter playing or not playing makes a single difference to Melbourne’s planning. He’s an average ducker and a cheat. We would have put little planning into him. Martin out would have made a far bigger difference to our planning, and that was never leaked.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
The deflection from Bevo continues. The facts are his team got destroyed in a grand final after being 3 goals up halfway thru the third quarter. They went away and did absolutely nothing to rectify their weaknesses and just got done again against a team missing 5 of their starting 7 defenders. He is clearly unhappy and it’s showing. His outburst was pathetic. I would be so embarrassed if Goody did that. Instead this just makes me laugh. Tom should have played Freed from Desire as Bevo stormed off.

Centre Clearances - Considered Analysis Requested.
They only had a short period where they got really clean clearances and they hurt us on the scoreboard. Taking first possession and “winning clearances” isn’t important if you can’t take them cleanly. I thought we shut them down well after half time by not allowing them to take the ball cleanly out of the center.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Hopefully Lever or Hibbo in for Salem.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
Takeaways from tonight 1- we are a genuinely good team. We know how to win, we know how to swing momentum, we know how to kill opposition’s confidence. 2- umpiring putrid. Dogs in for another golden run with them in 2022 3- we are lucky the Bulldog’s forwardline is a dog’s breakfast outside of Naughton who is a gun. We will really hurt without Salem and Lever against the better forward teams (Brisbane, Geelong etc). 4- Benny Brown is in for a big year 5- our Goal kicking is still putrid 6- Petracca is next level 7- Freed from Desire is a terrible song

Another season. Another umpiring debacle. Absolute joke. Umpire 32 needs to take a hike.

Did they say why Lever is out? Fireworks is also out. Big losses all around.

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
He’s warming out. Can’t see Lever Bedford also warming up. Could be the medical sub.

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
If no Lever I am not sure we can win. That’s more than half our backline missing. Lucky it’s a long season.

COVID Disruptions 2022
I am so sorry to hear that. Sounds awful. I think the 'mild' connotation of Omicron is that much like a flu or a bad cold, most people will feel nasty for a couple of days and then make a full recovery. Long Covid is less likely and if you are vaccinated, the chances of you ending up in ED or dying are very very low. That makes it 'mild', even if people who get it do feel absolutely woeful. The rate of short term recovery is what makes it mild in medical terms. With Delta we were seeing heaps more complications and long Covid, but with Delta we also had a far lower rate of vaccinations, so perhaps Delta isn't more deadly, it's just that our population was less protected from it.

COVID Disruptions 2022
I am triple vaccinated and have N95 mask at the ready to wear on the train and in the toilets. I don't plan on going to any bars or getting any food. I also sit in the open air, not undercover. Going tonight is a risk. So is driving a car, eating cheese and drinking alcohol. But life is for living and I am willing to take calculated risks in order to do the things that bring me joy. Totally understand if some people feel differently, especially older people or those with comorbidities. Unfortunately though it doesn't appear as if Covid is ever going away. Nope. Half my friends work in healthcare, and none of them have encountered reinfections either.

COVID Disruptions 2022
From what I understand triple jab + having had Covid provides decent long term immunity. I might be wrong tho. The variants move and mutate so quickly these days. I am still waiting to get Covid. Fairly shocked it hasn't happened yet.

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
Wrong priorities. School is not as important as football.
