  1. Sydney are a quality side. Geelong needs to bugger off. Iโ€™m sick and tired of seeing the same bloody players doing the same bloody things.
  2. 1000% Their premier is a complete moron and has proven what a waste of time it was to delay reopening the borders for the third time. It did absolutely nothing to delay Covid and Omicron. Should have opened up when they reached 90% double vaccinated as per original plan. Could have been over their wave in time for the footy season instead of having restrictions that other states have given up on months ago.
  3. So did Melksham. They take at least 2 emergencies on interstate trips. Might have even taken all 4 given Covid could throw us into disarray at the last minute.
  4. As I said earlier in the thread, WA teams will suffer more from Covid than anyone else because Covid is so new up there and now everyone is catching it.
  5. They conceded 25 scoring shots which isnโ€™t great.
  6. Carlton fans being insufferable in 3โ€ฆ2โ€ฆ1โ€ฆ
  7. This is the problem with playing hectic footy. Itโ€™s unsustainable for four quarters. Carlton look so tired and are incredibly lucky Dogs canโ€™t kick a goal.
  8. Embarrassingly so. Dogs killing themselves inside 50.
  9. Bontempelli, an absolute star.
  10. He isnโ€™t surrounded by much. Naughton aside their forwardline is full of plodders. Instead of constantly stocking up their midfield they should have gone and found some defenders and forwards.
  11. That doesnโ€™t hold up in finals tho as you know. Carlton have the talent to finish top 4. So do the Dogs. Both have very suspect backlines.
  12. I see arguing with the umpires is back.
  13. Except their backline is trash
  14. Dogs are in a world of hurt. To concede 76 points before half time is horrendous.
  15. And we lost Salem from an already undermanned defense which threw us.
  16. Embarrassing defensive effort from the Dogs. I can legitimately see them missing the 8. They are all over the shop.
  17. Dogs look [censored] scared of going down the middle. We definitely broke them.
  18. Same but when youโ€™ve been horrible for 2 decades eventually you accumulate enough talent to get better. Just ask Melbourne.
  19. Theyโ€™re a very talented list. Still suspect down back for me tho.
  20. Hot take- we broke the Dogs
  21. Yze I believe is the main channel of communication in the box between himself and Goodwin on the bench. So I would say Yze. Itโ€™s quite good that Goody coaches from the bench. It means less chance of the other coaches passing it to him as theyโ€™re in the box.
  22. Hunt played deeper last week and was on Weightman for quite a bit of the game. Rivers is a better user of the footy coming out of defence which is something we need, having lost Salem. I know Hunt has the speed and dash, but Rivers is more reliable by foot. I would say Rivers plays higher up, which means he may not end up on Rankine who does play closer to goal.
  23. I think everyone saw that one coming. 0 need to risk one of our most important players in round 2, especially given the mounting injury toll to our backline and having lost Salem for a third of the year. Rivers is a good replacement for Salem from a like for like opponent matchup perspective so at least thatโ€™s something.
  24. Welcome to the circus that is the AFL.
  25. I wonder how the footy public would have reacted if Bevo behaved the same way towards a female journalist, and not Tom Morris.
