The thing that gets me is that we should be competitive now. We should ALWAYS be competitive. It is a basic fundamental of a sporting organization. We should not be getting panted by GC or lose 3 quarters to GWS. Not now and certainly not after years of bottoming out already. Neeld sold [censored] pre season. He clearly didn't see this coming. How convenient that he has now changed his tune and finding rubbish excuses to be uncompetitive. He is a moron.

Enjoy the beautiful weather those who are going. I am sitting this one out for a family cause but I will be home on time to watch the inevitable destruction. If we win, then clearly I am the problem and I vow to never attend another game under Neeld again... So roughly until the end of the year.

God help us all if there is even a single person at our club who thinks we are onto a good thing here. FFS we are beyond a joke on and off the field right now. How delusional is Neeld, and indeed how dumb does the club think we are? Did we really pencil in 1 win for the season? Thrashing against GC, Brisbane and Port at home? Who gives a crap. This season is over. The only thing left to do is count the thrashings until Neeld, his useless assistants and those who chose them, are gone. I can't believe I feel this way, but I do. Never have I cared less about a game. Now with Viney out, there isn't even a glimpse of hope on display. Just make it end.

I've decided that I don't care if he goes now or in 17 rounds, just as long as everyone at the club (especially players) are aware that we are actively knocking down the doors of every available experienced proven coach out there. If Jackson and co. aren't stalking Paul Roos, baking him cookies and waving wads of cash in front of his face as we speak, I will personally hunt them down and kick them in the nut sack. In an ideal world, Neeld pisses off during the mid-season break, a new decent coach is announced and even if said coach can't start until the end of the season, one of the assistants who this coach fully supports and endorses takes over for the reminder of the season, starting to implement the new coach's vision. This is what a normal, decent, functional, strong club should do. What Melbourne will likely do though, is sack Neeld at the end of the season then start looking for a replacement, get outdone by Brisbane, and end up with Terry Wallace.
