I literally said this in my post. Did you stop reading about this sentence? I said they needed time to play together and that Lever and Jetta both are not fit. It was not passing judgement on the backline, it was merely an observation that while our backline is all on the field finally, it isn’t performing to the level we would like due to the above.

Obviously those tweets are revolting and awful. Would be equally as awful if it was said about a male umpire though, and I am sure it has. If people are picking on her for being female they are sexist and are distracted by the real issue at hand, which is her umpiring incompetence.

I thought he was ok. His disposal is terrible which lets him down and we won’t improve until we get some skills on the wings. I don’t know why they refuse to play Salem here. He is the best user of the footy by a mile. I know we use him for kick outs, but surely May and Hibbo have that covered.

Yep. I hope we say Viney is in doubt for this week, make sure Barras cops a suspension then play him. Sick of being the nice guy. To concuss Viney is no mean feat.

We can’t trade our first round pick this year. The only option is if we trade pick 3 for 2 picks, one within the first round, then on trade the other pick. We must use a first round selection this year, unless the rules have changed?

You aren’t wrong and as a fellow female I agree. But truthfully I know the names of very few umpires and she isn’t one that has umpired our games a lot so I just simply have no idea what her name is. I refer to her as the female umpire because it’s an easy identifier. I also refer to Nicholls as that bald pr!ck because that too is an easy identifier. I only know his name because I’ve seen him crucify us numerous times. That Eleni is a female has nothing to do with the fact that she is seriously bad at umpiring and she joins the countless males who too are awful at umpiring and ruined many a game this season due to their incompetence. On a side note Chelsea is by far the best goal umpire in the competition and I know her name because she’s an excellent umpire not because she’s female.

Second and third quarters were as good as we’ve played all year against a top quality opposition. So that’s a positives. Fritsch was great up forward, finally playing where he belongs and Lewis was also very good negative that fat [censored] McGovern. Once again our kicking and decision making cost us the game. Even down to Fritsch in the dying minutes kicking the ball into the center of the ground and missing the target. Yes it’s one play, but it’s the constant poor decisions and missing targets and easy shots on goal that just kill you as a supporter. And robs the team of all momentum. Our backline is fully stocked but they aren’t meshing. They are lost, they spoil each other and are constantly out of position. I’m going to give it time as they need to play together for a while to get in a groove, but my god Jetta and Lever are so rusty. Lever looks really unsure of his knee, Jetta looks exhausted and Frost is I don’t even know. He is a brain fade short of an aneurism. May has been magnificent. Clearly battling fitness still, but he is a presence and did a great job on Kennedy who destroys us on the regular. Despite his poor showing in pre season he has been a great get for us. Overall this game is a perfect summation of this season. A few highs, a lot of lows and plenty of frustration.

True. But we are both a man down this quarter. We are not a 4 quarter team. Haven’t been all year. Just another problem to add to a long list of problems.

This umpire is so so so bad. She needs to just go away. Embarrassing stuff!
