  1. Going to support the colours doesn't mean you support the coach or certain people at the club. The club is bigger than Neeld or any other person, grow a pair and support your team.
  2. Fold no, but I actually think relocation is not impossible. We are pretty well in the [censored] at the moment.
  3. Looked on the website but they only have recordings of Sam's Mailbag and other main segments. http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/afl/footyshow/video
  4. Probably just the wishes of people on Demonland which have gained a bit of momentum.
  5. Exactly, announcing him as the 'number one draft pick' on the day was ridiculous.
  6. To me he just seemed sick of discussing how and why the club was struggling. I noticed that when Sam began to talk about the Dees, I was expecting a jibe and I think Dawesy was too as his face contorted and looked as though he was getting pretty angry. Sam came out with some words of support though which was good. When Garry pointed at Dawesy and said something along the lines of 'you boys had better play with some effort', that really annoyed me. Especially as he refuses to take any kind of responsibility with the club. Garry is fast becoming a grade A [censored].
  7. If we lose Magner because of erratic selection behaviour, it wouldn't surprise me. None of the ineptness surprises me anymore
  8. Not to mention the others from pick 30 and higher. Thanks Barry!
  9. Look after that wrist WYL, you might need it for a few years yet!
  10. I didn't claim mine was based on fact however it is widely stipulated and has been for a long time that Moloney was not willing to listen to Neeld and improve the defensive side of his game. He has always come across as a bit precious and this matches with those stories. You however, haven't provided any evidence for your comments which you claim were based on facts. All you have is vague statements about 'being in the know' so spare me.
  11. You need to stop posting this on various threads or give people something, it's just stupid.
  12. Show me evidence for the above statements.
  13. and lack of these players in the first place
  14. He wasn't willing to do the work Neeld asked him to do (improving the defensive side of his game).
  15. That's a very idealistic way of thinking about it. You're missing a few steps there, such as Moloney not willing to do the required work and simply believing he deserved the captaincy and didn't have to work for it.
  16. Look, that sounds really great and I'd support someone like that but where are we going to pull them from? There aren't exactly guys lining up for the job.
  17. I see a technicality in this, there is no such person as 'Gysyberts'
  18. I'd say it is mostly self interest, which lines up with his personality. However, that doesn't mean at all that he won't be good for the club. He is a successful person and a strong personality and as I said earlier, this is what we need.
  19. I'd back us to win more games with Kennett at the helm than McLardy mate.
  20. Don't you get that we have had enough people who are of 'good character' and they don't seem to get a whole lot done? Give me a guy who is a blustering, loudly spoken bully, he gets what he wants and he gets stuff done. If he is after glory by trying to resurrect us, good on him, it benefits us too.
  21. Ah if Demon fans can handle the division caused by one Mark Neeld, I'm sure we can handle Kennett.
  22. I don't track his every comment but I'm yet to really see Don fire up and defend himself or the club in more than an apologetic way and it's kind of pathetic. If he has, I haven't seen it.
  23. I'd say why not. He is a strong minded, strongly spoken public figure and although he is often outspoken, at least he makes himself heard. People keep harping on about what he did to the state of Victoria but this is a football club, and there is a difference. The Hawks won a flag under his tenure and remain one of the strongest, if not the strongest club in the league. He wouldn't settle for anything aside from success and is a much better option than McLardy, who seems to have lost any kind of conviction or voice a long time ago. Definitely worth a go.
  24. Is that it? Typical of McLardy, doesn't get his back up over anything, even the future of his own position. Wish we had someone a bit more strongly spoken.
