  1. I think a more accurate statement is that you are very happy to celebrate her, with your hand'
  2. Strauss, who struggled to find the footy more than 6 times in a match? I don't think Neeld is a great coach but his hands are somewhat tied by our rubbish players.
  3. It really grinds me that we can't really find enough 'rounded players'. For example, Dunn has a real crack, is physically imposing and has a bit of aggro but does stupid things which let him down. Nicholson - is quick but can't kick. Watts - skillful and athletic but little urgency and physicality... I could go on. This seems to be a big problem. Not sure whether it is down to development or the kind of players we have drafted in the past but it gets me.
  4. Could be worth giving Davis a go too, he has been playing well in the seconds the last few weeks.
  5. Neither but as the season has progressed I have seen a bit more to like. Not enough to convince me that he has a lot longer left though. I have no problems with different opinions, just comments like 'Some of you people need to learn how to watch footy'. Unnecessary I think
  6. For what it's worth, there is upside to Pedersen. As I posted in another thread he is a good reader of the play, as evidenced by his intercept marks. Not bad in the air, marking and spoiling but he cannot kick. I'll just have to check now and then to see if you are commentating on footy or having a go at other posters.
  7. I used to enjoy reading your posts mate but they have really gone downhill of late. The arrogance and self importance is beginning to shine through more than ever.
  8. I don't really think there is an answer to this question, but one thing is clear - they are/were both very good assistant coaches. I think Adelaide are missing Bailey at the moment.
  9. They should both be elevated (after a few games later this season) and are much better options than quite a few that are already there. There are question marks about playing both in the same side but there is no doubt they are harder workers, better ball winners and tougher in the contest than many on the list.
  10. Yes because Neeld has been overseeing our recruiting for the past 7 years.
  11. Of course it's pathetic but there is no way I couldn't care - I'm way too emotionally invested and always will be, much the same as many on here I'd say. Not a healthy relationship to say the least.
  12. McBurney in particular makes me want to do physical damage. Not just today but a couple of our other games and games involving other sides.. he has been atrocious. An absolute [censored].
  13. The one thing I think he has going for him is his reading of the play - his intercept marks show that he does that well. Contest in the air isn't too bad as he can punch and takes a couple of contested marks but he cannot kick to save himself, and can't do much else.
  14. Didn't want to run in a straight line when the ball was on offer in the pocket - he and Pies player both running for it. i think Jack can still be a player, but probably sprayed the umpire because he knew he wouldn't get anything back.
  15. Why not, we have probably retarded his development enough to safely say he won't play 100 AFL games (sarcasm).
  16. Come on, did you just copy and paste from last weeks post match discussion?
  17. We don't lead and we don't move at the stoppages, continually handball to blokes who don't move because no one moves. My Record is in shreds.
  18. Especially as possie number 20 was about 6 minutes into the first quarter.
  19. Seeing Watts refuse to run in a straight line there was so bloody frustrating. Thank God Brown was soft as butter too.
  20. Sylvia already has 5 tackles. Haven't seen him much so great to see he is doing the work behind the scenes.
  21. Pederson and McDonald, both not watching the ball. Poor errors.
  22. Do you really think we could have won more games than that if we tried? We were terrible. Aside from the Richmond game, no others stand out as having should have won.
  23. I'm with you Ron. Despite him not really cementing a spot as a regular performer, he is still a big part of the club I feel. Even though he is divisive he is always at the fore with supporters and outsiders and I really hope he can produce something in the next 12 weeks - I'd like us to hold on to him and not give him up for a rubbish pick.
