  1. You would consider a serious relationship with a non-Dees supporter? The horror! 😮 That, if anything, is ban-worthy! (although you have probably worked out that getting banned from this thread tends to happen, like recent Dees premierships, about once every 57 years ... ) 😁
  2. Seems more like the Dogs have come to us. Who let them out anyway? 😁
  3. A bit late to the party here, but there was a case like this I recall not long ago. I am sure others will remember @jazza from a few years back. He and Bitters were famous for slagging each other off in a good-natured manner, especially on the eternal NoT$NoB$ thread. He went very quiet at one point, and it was only through some circuitous means that we found out he had paid his debt to nature, as they say, which was of course some time after the event. Perhaps every Halloween we should initiate a salute to Demonlanders past?
  4. We haven't talked footy on this thread for 1107 pages DF. Why on earth would we start now?
  5. Or we just wanted to belt the Lions again to prove a point ... :-)
  6. Given that Brisbane played on Thursday and us on Friday, with all the others playing today, it would make sense for Melbourne vs Brisbane to be Friday night, and whoever vs whoever to be on Saturday twilight or evening. But what the AFL will do ...
  7. Perhaps the sprinklers can alternate?
  8. I would have thought you were more of a banana smoothie man ...
  9. Hope all goes well with your recovery. Looks like the Dees played their part well!
  10. Of course. The Manor has an entire stable of utes ... 😆
  11. The Manor's dog has a ute? Clever woofer! 😆
  12. Is that a veiled reference to the Sullivan line? 😁
  13. Rex Hunt, Dermott Brereton, Daisy Pearce. One of these three is not like the others --- two of them would look old in the Jurassic era, and one is all class. Enough said! 😁
  14. One that says 'Eff off Freo' I hope ...
  15. Sorry. In a bad mood since Thursday night for some reason ... I guess May kicking it out means he gets a great view of it if it comes back over his head ... 😄
  16. True. But we should be thinking about how to make sure it doesn't come back quickly!
  17. A further issue is that if May is kicking out, it robs us of one of our best marks, especially as our 'strategy' seems to be to kick it to a pack. I don't understand why he is the preferred kicker compared to Salem or Hibberd. May kicking out means that he is back in his 'goalkeeper' spot if there is a turnover, but that is the wrong way to think about moving the ball out of our D50.
  18. All the best to Majak and his family for what comes next. If nothing else, having more exciting players of his heritage in our game is only a good thing.
  19. The premiership is a great vaccination against MFCSS, but I would like a booster in late September ...
  20. All too true just now, it seems ... https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1130811/viney-to-miss-roos-clash
  21. He also had his right boot off after the siren.
  22. My take on it was that he was expecting a Hawthorn defender to come at him while he was watching the ball. Not part of his highlight reel, but something for which he would rightly be expected to shepherd for, even though in this case the best thing to do would have been get out of its way and watch it go through.
  23. Seems you left out the 'un', uncle ...
  24. Great place in Scotland!
