I was sure that was one of the reasons Daw got picked and the former number1 pic from Saints didn’t (name escapes me).

Didn’t the club say they choose Daw as he would be ready by round 1.

You would bloody hope he is persisted with in that position considering Goody played him OUT of position all last season which lead to his drop in form and being dropped from the team. Another stupid decision by Goody. Let’s hope he has learned his lesson.

Thanks to the club for streaming the game live. It was great and the best part about it you don’t have to listen to the commentators on the commercial channels. Win all round.

If we are crap again he and goody are gone imo. (Brayshaw most likely too). Goody will be a lot earlier than Oliver though.

There have been a few players who have been played out of position including Hunt, Brayshaw and Harmes are the ones off the top of my head that i can think of. All their form dropped dramatically as a result yet didnt go back to their usual positions where they excelled. I really am not sure what Goody was thinking. Its not working but lets just keep doing it. I have serious doubts about Goodys coaching abilities and i am very glad we have Mark Williams in the background.

Dont hold ur breath Bay. Hopefully this is where Mark Williams will have some input. He is someone who can think outside the box. Make or break season for Goody with NO excuses.

If his mind and body are good to go then getting a life line when he was prepared to play local footy could just be the kick in the pants and HUGE motivator for him to play good footy again. You just never know it’s worth the risk imo.

I wish mate. It will happen it’s just about timing. When I don’t have to cart the kids around and all their crap, that’s when it will happen which is in a few yrs time.

Thanks Earl. Vets are nice cars to drive. the above continues to concern me greatly. It’s something we don’t seem to be able to get out of our game. it also has been reported on other training threads too. Goody seemed happy with the drills. This is also concerning. God help us this season.

No one is bigger than the club. Made some very stupid comments consistently not learning from his mistakes. Next to go will be Buckley now his protector is gone.

Spot on Jnr. Goodwin is an excuses coach and now he has another but I doubt it will work this season.

Don’t stress when he comes back say round 5ish we will have a new coach (Williams) cause we will be 0 and 5 to start the season and together Williams and Brown will lead our resurgence up the ladder. No need to worry.
