Sorry chicken legs!
-
How do u know we won't lose any players hh?
-
The sooner Neeld is gone the quicker we can start to work with the players to convince them that not all is doom and gloom at the club.
-
Why August rpfc?
-
Selecting the Melb side is like playing chook lotto. What a joke. We will get smaaaaaaashed on Sunday avo
-
Agree BTW there aint no "T" in Schwarz
-
I like this below: "We'll do our best to sign those guys up," Neeld told reporters on Thursday morning. "They're certainly required players here and we'll do what we can to keep them here, absolutely. SO DOES THAT MEAN NEELD WILL RESIGN???????

Really....... Quality post S

GNF I love your posts, especially the fact that u get your info from the inside. (I am obviously taking you at face value when you say that, as I dont know u and wouldnt know if I passed u in the street) Do u know or have u heard of any movement on Neeld? Keep posting.
-
U didnt have to read it again S. Gullible posters u say, everyone with half a brain can c what is going on we dont need the media to tell us.

I posted this in another thread but it fits here too. I dont think I can remember the MFC being in such a dire position with players wanting to leave. Neeld is a nut job and he needs to go. He has actually made us worse which I thought was not possible and is driving players away to top it off (and he wants another 3.5 yrs). Its like being in a horror movie which never ends with Neeld as the star. If we can land a BIG NAME coach (Roos, Choco, Eade etc) I am sure the players would rethink leaving but this needs to happen NOW not at the end of the season. I really hope for all us supporters (and players) this is happening. If anyone on here has a contact which is reliable with what is going on PLEASE give us some hope?

He would be shocked if he didn't see out his contract, hmmm I would be and I think most of us would be flabbergasted if he does see out his contract. Me thinks he has a screw loose.
-
As long as they are ready to go and not wafer thin (think cake Morton) I will be happy. Hopefully the NEW coach will know how to develop players and use the WIN word.
-
Along with a lack of quality mids Chook.
-
If we have a big loss to Freo surely he will be gone next week.
-
Is it wrong to think/hope for a big loss so that Neeld is moved on quicker rather than waiting for the inevitable?
-
Cause they get unprecedented media coverage!!!!!
-
I thought this thread would have started after rd 2 given our performances. Draft pick talk has started a bit later this season! O the dream of not talking about draft picks until after the season ENDS.
-
along with Neelds 2 yr contract extension everything is sweet.
-
Don't worry stuie we will get a good young draft pick to replace him (cause we will finish last) and we will develop him into a gun mid.
-
Why wouldn't he want to go? The way the MFC is they will extend Neelds contract for another 2 seasons to keep in line with his 5 yr development plan!!!!
-
Knowing the way MFC operates they will probably extend Neelds contract cause the team showed a "good effort" on the weekend!!
-
Dreaming is all us Dees fans do stuie.
-
It shows how pathetic we are as a club when the coach says "Neeld happy Dees had a crack". part of the article reads "MELBOURNE coach Mark Neeld said he could not fault the effort of his players in the 35-point loss to Richmond at the MCG". "But key forward Chris Dawes again put the acid on his teammates by saying that losses, regardless of effort, were unacceptable". What the...... Why is a first yr player saying what should be said but the coach well is on another planet. AND then in another article the heading reads "THE TACKLE: The sort of endeavour shown by Melbourne yesterday might save coach Mark" R u kidding yourself. If Neeld survives the MFC will fold. I am proud of my boys effort when he plays but hang on he is 9yrs old and plays Auskick NOT the #1 AFL comp in the country. Neeld has to go NOW.
