Thanks to all, really like this thread makes me sound smart when I repeat some of it. Really thought we fumbled the ball, no clean pick up, I do think the wet helped them in that regard, and we looked a little tired , in that I cannot see any or much enthusiasm when going for the ball. Some players just looked down in that respect. Got excited when we got to 4 points and thought we were a chance, but then those last few goals by the dogs were very deflating. I have not re looked at that last quarter, cannot remember how they got the goals, Hannon just stood there and marked I remember, were we just done for the evening. Not sure this comment wil please but i think we lose it in the ruck, and we have the “best”... too predictable or taps it to unfavourable positions puts up with 2 much attention without complaints, the umpires think he does not mind ! we need to work harder and smarter training needs to be almost a rest one night a week till the finals are on, we need to refresh

My concern is how Iong or how many games can we string together playing pressure hard at it football. 2018 we ran into this hurdle and again this year when we played the pies after a couple of games against the better sides. Against the top 8 we can be up for the contest but take others too lightly. and then seem to hit a wall and not score goals. Don’t want a repeat of 88 or 2000. be nervous on the day whatever!!!!!
