My thoughts on Jackson and Pickett, both from WA are they not? good reason to pick them especially if the stadium is empty. But I would have thought they both need a few weeks at Casey then when we play an "easy beat" side at the MCG, if there is an easybeat side, they should be eased into the main side. Its not as if we are short of fit players and have to play certain players. Empty stadium no pressure on the umpires to pick the locals, we might divide the free kicks. That would be good !! Why worry what an opponent says. He takes a good grab that’s about it, not sure he helped us win any matches directly. unlike say JW who kicked that goal against the pies, encouraged by jones , a really great goal. JH never really invested in the MFC, I expect to have a much better year Go Dees 2020

Great team in tonight, I really not fussed if we do not win but obviously prefer a win, it is only February and it’s a practice match but how we play and how we attack the first quarter are my concerns. then some individual performances G o Dees

The last couple of minutes should not on their own, be the reason for losing, but if you have watched this years practice matches, its a different story I think, and if he does play to 300. The Demons are going to have a very healthy year, (I hope) , Anticipate most years, but full of hope again, Opinions....everyone has a right to them....it would be ugly if we all thought the same. As a club, Melbourne has been less than demanding of some senior players, in their twilight. Notably though we crucified I thought, junior McDonald who I thought was a great captain That said, I hope Jones does well and gets his 300. He is super cool in a pressure situation going into our50. but time waits for no one !

Can I throw in, the coaching staff need to be more than one dimensional. advice within the coach’s box needs to happen. Whether that advice is acted upon, who knows, but at least they should be putting options or proposals. even if we are winning by a few goals, not to sit back and watch, and let it happen. If any of you bother to read the online Roar, they have an article comparing Bombers and Demons. The end result we are 13th and bombers 12th. Not much love in the artlicle for Viney. I think they are mistaken but I would read your views Go Dees 2020 !!

I have watched a bit, nice day over there, biggest problem they think its a practice match, going half hearted, no venom no spite though I saw one late thump, Carlton still look [censored] hoose Freo a little cleaner with the ball, but in the end it a good hit out and I have not seen any injuries.
