Don't know about petrified, but it's not a walk in the park, agree one of the disappointments last couple of years, we don't go hard enough in some games
-
Of the past 60 years member for at least 30 for first 12 or so at school I don't know do I qualify as a supporter?
-
Been doing this for more than 60 years, agreed no further comment required

I only listened for first 3 quarters new we had lost at 3/4 time went and had coffee with the Mother in Law must have been good In Dunn, needed in the backline Brayshaw he is best 22 Out Oscar Mac (injured and not good enough yet) Garland never in my best 22 have not seen him play a great game though others have BUT I am going next week so want a strong backline, if Brayshaw goes in who goes back to cover Garland I have NFI there you go GO DEES feels good but only 2 points how can you win kicking one goal in two quarters

Know nothing about this fella BUT if he has only played the game for 12 months and he will or does go first round well I do love a gamble cos to get to first round selection the up side must be HUGE and there is always a couple....what do I know though leave it to the current bunch of selectors its a good diverse group did well last year..

' And we should have TAKEN him !!

Looking at todays list compare it to the one before Roos I am sure that some would be greatly surprised that Dunne and Watts are still listed and in my case Garland There has been a complete removal of the "dead wood" no matter how nice, incipid or club oriented were the players personally, ( no reflection on them meant) Congrats to the list managers and recruitment guys This list looks like it can go places, remains to be seen of course, My one regret is that Ollie Wines was not taken by us couple years back. I suspect he would have out shone an anointed son of a champ. One more hard at it Mid at this time in our development. It makes me mad,, no I'm that already following Melbourne for 61 years. Again all credit to the recruiters Fantastic job If we can recruit well with 3 and 7 I might get to more than 2 games next year. Its a bit hard from the Bool to get here usually the only Melbourne supporter in the pub ! Recruit Hard Go DEES.

Think this is So So important, confidence, ticket sales, up beat stories I feel sick just thinking it might be the same as other years, apart from that double last years results should be expected, but we will win unexpectedly and lose badly on other days Go dees !!!

A fantastic player will remember for ever a few times him floating high bumping his opponent just enough to take the mark on out stretched hands and his dad introducing the very humble kid into the Red Legs room a long time ago Good on ya Robbie !!
-
A mistake we should not make again ! He supported the Dees it annoys me every time he gets a touch, but good luck to him
-
Don't forget the game Dunn played today consistent good work all day. His football is getting much better each year, he is proving his detractors poor judges. but then we are, all of us on this side of the fence

Charcoal isn't that good for wind ? or something
-
Not sure that we would win either of those games but agree So i will reserve celebrating a win, when the final siren goes. But not before then.

Yes cannot remember a Geelong player hitting the deck hard, do it once or twice at the right time, and they will get rid of the ball under a bit of pressure "in their own minds" or real pressure, gives defenders just a little bit more edge !

with this season over, we can dream as much as we like, but we have all done that far too much the last few years Come the dreaded 31st Dec and the New Season reality how the hell do we win that first game enjoy the positive spirit Joy to the World (except Collingwood, Essendon, GWS et al) enjoy the moment friends and all the BEST for 2014 -
Can't see anything wrong with the article. Scully is making some headway, I don't see Rohan saying he is a star mid or anything else but in the context of the article he is a regular player, some of the others mentioned have come and gone. One didn't even get to game one. I think many have too thin a skin here. $cully has gone, and being paid that sum, Must cause his team mates Questions, hence they leave. $cully can play in his swimming pool full of cash, all by himself. a regular player in a not so good side, yes, some in that list gone already yes, Not sure there is a real champion potential in that year yet. And a thick skin would help us all, the $'s still annoy me, but we're better off as a club, we have had enough troubles, don't need $ problems within the playing group !

True enough when looking at a premiership situation, He will not be there. But for the past three or four years it was either him or Bates that would be regularly castigated by supporters on websites, Selectors saw enough and kept him and not master, And for most of last season they kept picking him, Surely they know more than the rest of us, here on the outer side of the fence. He must do whatever he has been tasked to do, that puts him in our current best 22. Sad yes but that was the Demons this year. I hope either he improves or struggles in 2014. Means we are getting better, I for one hope he improves along with his team mates. There were far worse than Dunn last ear. Looking forward not back....

Much more realistic ratings, how many of our guys would get a game at other clubs, very few IMO, let alone the top 4 clubs....none !

I do not think LJ will get back to AFL standard, but that's not to say we as a club should not help in the rehabilitation of one of our own. If he wants that help. Probably at Casey, with aid and assistance from MFC, Cost is negligable, rewards could be ginormous but the improvement in self worth and morale by the cub and supporter base outweigh those costs. And when he was on song, man he could play. Just because it might not work is not reason not to try. LJ back or winning tattslotto I can Dream if I want to !

was dissappointed last year, not to get Wines, Solid build ready to play Still feel the same

With the Rocks in place of Jackson and Roos, why not take pleasure and Hope from the Power Really who would have thought they would beat the Colliwobbles yesterday,

When RDB came home there was plenty of hype and hope, we only got 2/3rds of the way up Better looking up the way we can go than living and dwelling on the cellar position now. But tempered optimism, the last few years demand it, But it should be a much better trip. !

Well that news made me smile, Paul Roos does look good in that Red Demon Polo shirt, If only we could get rid of the white clash strip,,,, Good Luck Paul, welcome
-
The difference Roos would make (VOTE AWAY)

Hope desperately that getting Roos works, but remember quite vividly the similar hype about RDB coming back, and lets not forget Blight at St.Kilda Big build up Big disappointment Hope we have some money left over to get a top flight midfielder or two to get the ball out of the centre !
