  1. Yes, you need help. Good luck finding the right doctor.
  2. Agreed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never read Bailey or Neeld blaming individual players for the team's failings.
  3. Does 4 describe the number of so-called breakout games he had playing for us?
  4. They must be up very late watching replays of Melbourne games from the last 7 yrs.
  5. We shall see old. I truly hope you are correct. Talk is cheap though.
  6. That's all well and true, but when are we going to see the real Jack Watts? It's easy to throw mud, but harder to catch it.
  7. Should we get the whole team, including Roos, to park 2km away an hour before the game and get them to run there?
  8. Yeah, Paul Van der Haar was great in Titanic. Not so keen on him in Indepenence Day.
  9. Is that you, Dr Who?
  10. And it worked for you Bitty? Lol!
  11. Geez DC, I used to play footy for Surrey Hills many years ago, we used to go for a training run at full pace with one golf club and a couple of golf balls around the 'Royal Wattle' course. Ground keepers were furious, as expected. Wasn't a pretty sight. My golf never recovered, and my footy wasn't far behind
  12. Not on a bull though. That 'teat' will get you chased around like a scene from Benny Hill.
  13. Yep, if Roos was impressed with Cam Pedo's performance, that's good enough for me. His teammates have indicated on DeeTV that he's been one of the hardest trainers this preseason.
  14. That makes a difference to the situation. We have the option to match an offer and get compo should he leave. Still, I'm not aware of any RFAs where the offer has been matched. The player requiring to be in the top pay bracket at the club to be a RFA (as opposed to a 8 year FA) is a tough one when negotiating contacts with 21 and 22 yr old players. Do we sign them on a 3-4year front loaded contact, knowing that they may be on considerably less than their market value in their last year or do we pay more in the final year keeping them in the top bracket??? AFL inflation could have an effect on FA considerations for longer tern contracts. Four years ago $300k pa to play AFL was a very good money. Not so now.
  15. Cause the kids get embarrassed when the parents hog all the junk food and rides...?
  16. Nine marks as well. Very good use of his body.
  17. Could he be the upgrade for Riley being on the LTI list? Might get more game time leading up to round 1 with Garland injured.
  18. That last one about how boring Roos coaches did make me chuckle WJ
  19. Think I heard on the commentary that his kicking efficiency is surprisingly high. Not pretty, but effective.
  20. Was talking in general, not necessarily for Cats game. However, Roos could be looking to share around the pre season matches in readiness for H&A season. Maybe it's not so much dropping, but giving others a run. Roos probably has a plan of who he wants to get game time into. On a side note, this sub system for NAB Cup got me a little confused (I know, I'm easily confused) as to who was on and who was off. A few guys I thought were having quiet quarters or halves only to realise afterwards that they were subbed off but came on again after half time. Doesn't help to have commentators that have nfi what's going on and give us very little useful info.
  21. The composure of guys like Vince and Tyson showed they will be valuable pick ups for us. Last year our guys generally would have panicked under pressure, but watching Vince thread the ball out of the back line was great. Early days, but there appears to be a new sense of purpose and confidence within the team. Looking forward to seeing Viney, Watts, Hogan and Dawes come in.
