You do realise around that time the AFL put a stop on clubs using the points system to gain unreasonable advantage for academy/FS picks? The points system needs to balance or the AFL won't agree to it. The topic was about splitting picks or maximising trades.... Last year we swapped pick 28 for 36 and 46. Too early to tell, though I believe Marty Hore might've been included there. Not sure though. We also traded one player (Hogan) for May, KK and pick 23 (Swallow).
