Fantastic win by the girls. That last quarter was great to watch as they both went hammer and tongs. Again I thaught Paxman was our best player. Pearce was excellent in the ruck and Daisy played a great game. Hanks is becoming one of my favourites. She is in everything and disposes of the ball well. It was good to see Madddie Gay as well. We needed a more solid midfielder and she fits that bill very well. Goldrick, Miffen, Parry, Scott and Birch played well. A win like that can be a team lifter for the whole club. I hope the boys watched it as well.

Best half of footy I have seen from the girls. North are a good side but we made them look ordinary. I hope we can play with the same intensity in the second half.

Played ok that quarter. Have to watch North along their half forward line. Again Paxman was unreal but for her boo boo against Carney.

Yes he can defend but is also useful up forward. Given we have a backline to pick from he can play at FF.

Petty to FF. I have always argued he is a forward. Must learn to kick better. Forget TMAC and Brown. Not up to it. Jackson too inexperienced.

Went down but I won't start whinging about the silly zones system. On the other hand I thaught we played poorly today. Kicking was poor and still too many handballs but are getting better in that direction. Our players played inconsistantly as well but there were some noticable momments. Bannon second quarter was exceptional. She is a very strong mark. Tyla hanks second half was also very good and paxman came into it as well. Mithen played well and Hore put in one good quarter. Daisy was good as well. Zanker put in a better effort than last week and cunningham was good to. Hardly noticed Lauren Pearce. Richmond are crap.

When we looked down and out in the last part of the third and in first half of last it was Lauren Pearce who kept us in it. What a superb ruckwomen she is. The young Mcnamara looks like a real find.
