Was a great player. I can still remember him playing us at the lakeside oval. That was also my favourite away ground.

That is diabolically sickening.

It is not a bad draw for us but I have to whinge about Geelong. They play 4 vic clubs in Geelong and it is us, North, Dogs and yep Essenscum. Again an absolute disgrace. 

Brown out. Gawn to FF rotating with Grundy and McDonald to a lessor extent. Petty to chf with Turner as the chb. I would have ANB out as well with Chandler replacing him but it will not happen. Hibberd out and Rivers in. Bowey must be on the bench at least. I am a little iffy about Hunter. Jordan plays well on the wing but is a little too predictable.

I was convinced we would be playing Geelong in Geelong in rd 1 but I suppose it will be the last game of the year just so we can whinge about it all season.

I am with Katrina on this. Paxman has bled red and blue and I just can't see her in a foreign jumper.

Tonight's games are interesting as well which includes the biggie ... Australia vs Denmark 2.00am (I expect Argentina to to beat Poland tonight and they probably have to, as the Saudi's can beat Mexico and snare a spot in the next round)

I picked the Germans at the start but getting on to something more relevant I would love to beat Argentina just to see those twits in Buenos Aires rioting.

The umpires have been a disgrace. 

We held the ball in well in the 2nd quarter and if can continue to do that a big chance even with those umpires. Only twice in that quarter did the bears run it clear.

Great win girls. The game was not going  our way yet they hung in and then went pounce. Good sides do that. And I just want to tip my hat to Shelley Heath. Can't think of anyone better to have in the trenches.

The fact the game is being played in Ipswich beggars belief. A maximum crowd of 8000 bogans beggars belief but they will only get about a thousand.
