Thommo to stay as insurance for May, Fritsch to come in for Chandler, I would give Brayshaw a crack in the forward line as a replacement for Kozzie but we will see tonight.

Whilst there was some change in ball movement and I'm sure as the season rolls on it will get better but we will not get within six goals of the pies at this stage, I was impressed (hard to say out loud) with how they fling the ball around, made passes inboard over the opposition heads where we could not, next week will be a test, the lions will bounce back hard. But is is good to start the season off with a win and percentage.

I just love the fact that when this type of thing happens to media people how easy and sympathetic they are to the person, but if it happens to players all hell breaks loose, it's double standards full stop.

Cannot do enough sitting on the pine he will only get to feel the step up in play if he is out there....

If they don't start with JVR then it's a wasted opportunity, now is the time to do it, full game let him try and work himself into it, don't care about the result myself.

lmfao do think only people work 10min down the road I know plenty of people that have big commutes for long periods of time, at one stage in my working lifeI i traveled from East Bentleigh to Epping every day building brick kilns, so why is it different for players to travel but not for the normal working folk and how many days a week are they doing that? -

I hope it is Caulfield but that will take a long time, as for the demographic people that have been living there might be Melbourne supporters but the kids follow family, friends, in their choices of teams, an example past players who had kids where they follow another side and not the side their father played for it's all changed in how they pick their sides to barrack for. -

Understand your point but what I do laugh at is the rest of the population travel large distances to work everyday 8-9 hours a day in peak hour but for footballers that's to much to ask I wouldn't mind traveling for $300 - 800 thousand a year for 10 months of the year. -

I believe it was simply the game plan I even said that after round 9 I think it was, even Goodwin stated that they needed to change things but it was all too late they were so well structured that they could not change it in time. As for your point about questioning the board I don't have a problem with people doing that, it's I have a problem with people being explained what is happening and they then infer that they are not telling the truth or they don't know what they are doing and won't listen to the facts. -

They built a hot and cold recovery pool at Casey, but I believe Casey has an aquatic centre across the road walking distance so that's not a problem. -

Success brings recruits, and if the redevelopment of the southern stand does get done how does that solve the problem it's the same being at AMMI park? -

People did not follow any football team because they had a home ground, people followed teams through family, friends, players and success, football is tribal game it's as simple as that, marketing is completely different to 20 -30 years ago. Your point about the heartland, hate to tell you but that has changed with different demographics of people, Hawthorn moved from their heartland Collingwood did the same those days are gone the reality is people don't care it's what they do on the ground that counts. -

Well guess you could not answer my question but ok, 1. I am not blindly following the board but do understand how hard it is to get a multi million funded project off the ground it does take time and lets face it governments are wary of giving money to a football club when they are struggling financial wise not good aesthetics. 2 Yes I would like a all in one club but we had our chances years ago, but until then we have facilities that are damm good for the players and that what counts. 3. People get on here and continue to infer that the board either has done nothing or don't know what they are doing or not telling the truth. Sorry, on your first point yes we had our injuries but the game plan was the biggest problem, even they tried to change late season but it was too late.
