POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Geelong
Strange game last night at half time either side could have been 3 - 4 goals up. After the break we dominated but could not, kick staight, some due to non composure by players who just rush their disposal, the last quarter well there was some great plays and goals but the funniest was Fritschs goal on the boundary it was like watching 2 players in slow motion expecting the ball to go out of bounds except it didn't but it was a great dribble. We still have a few players who are like a deer in the headlights and by that I mean when under pressure to release the ball or just cannot move the ball on quickly and they are TMac, River's, ANB, sparrow, lever and to a lesser extent Kossie but with him I think his body is out of sink with the brain. Max should never be allowed to take a kick in general play someone should run past him unless he is 60 out from goal ( don't think there is not a lot of oxygen up that high.) Liked the ball coming in a lot lower and more central and thought Petty was good playing further up the ground and provided a spark but would like to see players move around dragging their opponents out of the hot spot a lot more, JVR needs to learn how to use his body a lot more. But the one real pleasing thing was the backline and that's a credit to May and Lever who organise the group where to go and loved watching Cameron and Hawkings not having any real influence except for Cameron who missed those shots in the last. Hoping when McAdam is ready he will add another dynamic to the mix as he likes to lead as a forward, next week another test and if our forward line can function a lot better things in 24 will be a lot better.

NON-MFC: Round 08
I'm with you on De Koninng but Nick Dacios would improve our midfield easily.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
That maybe so but it's his job to win games as well and if he has to change things to win a game are you saying he cannot do that?

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
So the Casey coach cannot make moves then or change how they play during the game interesting....

NON-MFC: Round 06
That's being an analyst in football, he can be hard to listen to at times and I understand why people don't like listening to him but he is mostly right in his comments.

NON-MFC: Round 06
But he knows what he is talking about in his analysis of player positioning and and what they are trying to do.

TRAINING: Friday 19th April 2024
If Jim Stynes can play with 2 broken legs and a fractured arm Oliver should be able to play, if not he's a sook and should swallow some concrete and harden the .... up

2024 MRO & Tribunal
There would not have been a problem with Kossie if he had continued the action of his arms up at contact instead of turning his body to allow engagement of his shoulder to his head. The decision on Maynard was wrong but if he also had contacted Gus with his arms up with the continuation of a smother Gus would still be playing, and would not have been an issue.

JvR Re-Signs until 2029
Now how about we get a proper forward line coach to teach the kid how to use his body and positioning to help him to become a better forward.
