That last 50 was a bit tough on the cats.
  9. I will add one more ruckman not allowed to make contact at boundary throw ins until the ball is in the air sick of watching ruckman grapple, scrag around the neck.

They had a chance at where the pies are now and were tooking at Prarhan if my memory serves me correct, they also looked a Jolimont houses for headquarters, Bill Guest was involved but it was knocked back.

I call that good management unlike us years ago rode the coat tails of the MCC for to long.

Government giving money, you said it....

So going by your theory you would be against government funding for anything we do, I will also add this has been the fault of the football club for many many years because of their mindless belief that we should be at the MCG and knocked back different locations over the years.
  14. No, but Doug Wade got 4 votes and Goggin 2 votes.

There will always be inconstancies until they say it doesn't matter what the outcome is you do it and it's 2 and then graded on how bad it was weeks or more and don't get me started on gut punches or an open hand slap it should be mandatory 2 weeks full stop, no school yard excuse he touched me first. But if that happened the media would complain about that.
  16. Quite frankly it won't improve a thing other than running, watching games on the screen that's about it, umpires can only give decisions based on what they see and until they get rid of the congestion around the ball nothing will change and we all know coaches don't want that.

When a player is not getting a go regularly and has limited opportunity they all go to greener pastures and that was the case full stop no matter how you want to spin it.

He left because of chances so in effect we let him go
  19. Fact is it's not the basic rules itself and no matter what they do coaches will invent ways around it, cut the rotations is one way to address it but coaches complain about that it's the never-ending story.
  20. And how will that improve it?
  21. Umpires make mistakes players make a lot more of them, no score in the the first quarter was the reason not Umpires and for all those bitching and moaning give us your solution and don't say make them professional because missed frees will still occur.

Have no problem with Newman getting off, not much in it.
  23. Bit hard to play football when you wear this...
  24. I will go the other way if the 5 day break affected us why did we run all over them, they kicked 4 goal 3 and we kicked 8 goals 9 after half time so I don't think that was the real problem.
  25. I never said you were and I love Saturday afternoon games myself but unfortunately being a better club result wise the sponsors love it, bigger audience bigger exposure for them, just remember we started slow and a bullet train coming home so it's not a fitness issue otherwise we would have been beaten by 10 goals plus. As I have said before we are a one paced midfield who rely on contested possessions not quick movement.
