Stand by for more covid changes I'm thinking!
I hope you're wrong, but I'm fearful you may be correct. And I think it's more than MFCSS.
My thoughts:
- Lever back is good ... Smith out
- Apparently doubts about Viney ... fingers crossed
- Daw won't get a game unless both Max & Jacko are out
- It's a no from me to Melksham ... he simply doesn't buy into defence first philosophy
- I'm not a fan of Bedford's, but I guess he comes in for Kozzy
- TMac in for Jacko, but Weid to give Max a chop out in the ruck and TMac forward

You know your team is good when another team’s boast is “we drew with them last year!”
Demons supporters during the Neeld era ... "we only lost to ## by 5 goals last time" !!

I'm sorry for Grundy. He seems a reasonable type of guy.
Should I wash my mouth out?

What was it? I'm not suggesting they were incorrect, but it felt like we had a lot go our way, especially during an important stretch in the game.

And if the club listened to fans, Neal Bullen and Spargo would be delisted and not premiership players
The Club shopped ANB round at the end of 2020 season along with TMac. However there was no interest in either player from other clubs. So both stayed ... and the rest is history!

I reckon Smith stays in. He was in the team with May Lever Petty in the final against the Lions. Got injured and was replaced by Hibberd. Smith is not a depth player, he plays most of the time when fit
he is so versatile that you can have him in with 3 talls. His spoiling and 1:1 defending has become very good. Great in the air with an amazing reach.
lever in for Hunt/Rivers.
Are you talking about the final when he got his pants pulled down by Cameron?
If so, not a great point of reference.

Filth v Gliders. 2 very ordinary sides. Filth slightly less ordinary.

Fun fact.
Demons kicked 22 behinds last night .... and won by that margin.

The teams we have beaten so far are #11-#16. Yes, I know you can only beat who you play!!
Let's see what happens when we start playing better sides. Perhaps we'll beat all those sides, perhaps not?
In any event, chalking up all these wins early in the season is (obviously) gold, and in the absence of a massive slump/injuries to many key players sets up a final 4 (hopefully final 2) finish.
I've supported this Club for over 50 years. It's a weird feeling.

Yeah, well done to Jayden. Was evident at the ground that we had a hard ‘tag’ on Bolton in our system whenever he went forward of centre.
I have an awful feeling that Jayden might miss out when we have our best backline but if he does jobs like that then he is a chance to stay in the team. I would prefer Jayden be able to play on a Charlie Cameron in September and get him thinking about defending Hunt and not just finding the footy.
How many Charlie Camerons are there?

So many dump kicks.
Richmond have taken a ridiculous no. of intercept marks.

Wasn't Smith's fault. Turnover caused it.

I had a great seat on Level 2 in the Members.
Sadly I'm not there cos I've got a slight case of the "not so wells".
A Demons win will certainly assist my recovery!! Go Dees !!!

I think that Tmac is better than Weid, but he is clearly in decline.
Weid has potential upside. Which is presumably why he will be preferred to Tmac moving forward.
As for the other 'ins' this round, Smith is clearly Goody's love child.
And Dunstan is an obvious inclusion. No point in having recruited him if he was wasn't selected in this situation (Viney out).

A question.
In Q4 of Bulldogs v Crows, Weightman clearly ran through the protected area. Even the commentators pointed that out.
Needless to say, no 50 metre penalty.
Had a crows player simply pointed to Weightman running, would that have constituted umpire disrespect?

Crows no hope with umpires strictly applying "free kick Bulldogs" policy.

I remember years ago scratching my head, wondering what on earth was remotely funny about 'Jeelong.' I put the question out there and SWYL kindly responded that the genius cheer squad spelt Geelong that way on the banner for a game.
Pretty bloody funny
lol ... I think Jee-long is appropriate because that's what their supporters chant.

Goodwin, Jackson, Pickett, Sparrow, Petty & Neal-Bullen All Out with COVID

I presume we're all going through the exercise of working out who's most dispensible?? Or more particularly who isn't.
Gawn/Oliver/Petracca/Langdon/Brayshaw are clearly irreplaceable. Fritta is borderline.
I know WCW wont be happy with this, but I think that May is. Tomlinson would come in and Lever/Petty/Tomlinson and several of Hunt/Bowey/Rivers/Hibbert/Brayshaw/Smith (hmm?) is still a pretty good backline. Any of Hunt/Bowey (although preferably not)/Rivers are replaceable by Hibbert/Smith.
I think pretty much everyone else is replaceable.
It's a shame that Oskar Baker wasn't able to perform better when he had his chance.
I'm sure everyone is hanging out for further news.
